I've done my darnedest to support him and put on a good face, believing that he knew what he was doing and was doing what it takes to lead. I didn't abandon him when others were. But yesterday, he lost me.

Yeah, that presser lost me. Seemed like a total surrender. Reagan would never have done that in a millions years. Sadly, Bush is not Reagan.

I was completely demoralized at the end of the Bush presser.

God bless America, President George W. Bush, and the troops fighting for our freedoms.

A little decorum and dignity would be so nice right now.

You guys (neocons) really need to get a clue. The base voted GOP, stay homers were few and far between. What the neocons (yall) did was drive Reagan Democrats (working middle class) into the Rats camp. Insane trade policy, out sourcing, amnesty, out of control spending and a unpopular war policy did it. The GOP base voted GOP, no one else did, so stop with the blame the GOP base crap.

Nope. Just looking at Bush's record thus far and seeing how he's consistently capitulated to everything the "they're-not-unpatriotic" Dhimmicrats every wanted.

he'll announce he had a really nice cabinet meeting, thank Rumsfeld again for his service, and walk off.

That will probably be the gist of it. "Can't we all just get along" will be the theme.

"Pretty soon they'll be telling liberal jokes about him and calling him dumb and making fun of his plain speaking. Quite a difference from a few days ago when Rove, You Magnificient Bastard was the phrase of the day."

I always make jokes, regardless of who is in office. Even so, I will always credit George Bush as making the first stand against the current Jihad wave that will permeate the globe over the next two decades. It's coming, and it has precedent. History will show he made a stand, but at this juncture in time, america had chose a different, and possibly a destructive path. Our military leaders should be ashamed.

That is such a tempting scenario. It does puzzle me why Republicans can't do what the RATS have done, govern by being the minority. Filibuster anything and everything. Bring charges and investigations on any likely RAT target. You get the drift. When did being the elected leader of the USA take second place to the heads of congress?

Since he is our President and Commander in Chief for the next two plus years, if you are going to abandon him then I hope you will at least support him when he does things that you approve of. Our troops and our children deserve that.

He's hitting the ground running with the gift the Libertarians and stay-at-home complainers gave him.

Nailed that one. Thank you, Neil Boortz and company.

Asking Bolton to serve without pay would be a little too much to ask, I think.

"Cada uno debe aprender hablar español" -- Bush

Has the border patrol been subdued yet because of a flood of illegals trying to make the upcoming amnesty cutoff date?
