Ever heard of FBI files?
Ever heard of FBI files?
LOL! Oh yeah, that was a factor too.
Good points.
Thx.
He didn't name names, but his rant began when the news came out that Rumsfeld was resigning. He interpreted that as Bush bowing to the Democrats and giving them what they wanted so that he can leave the WH in two years with high ratings.
I think that was a knee-jerk reaction, and I hope he rethinks it after he's home with some peace and quiet, a good meal, and some sleep. :) He really didn't have much time to process Rumfeld's resignation before reacting, as he learned of it during his show. And it truly was a surprise to everyone, including Rush.
Because I like Rush, and I can't stand Savage. It's not all about the issues. Rush did what he did to help the team. Savage says what he says to get attention.
I just turned the TV back on....after I couldn't take it anymore, about 2 hours ago.
First thing I see is a promo for Fox News that Brit will be interviewing Nancy Pelosi tonight....
I just want to CRY,...because now I will have to give up my favorite Fox Show...sigh
Excellent, excellent, EXCELLENT post!
Well the webcam version I saw had Rush throwing his arms around and talking about how Fox was "acting", that is wasn't real. Sometimes what people do speaks louder than what they say. And you can't take it back.
Uh, I think W knows he won't have a nice ride with the Dems. He sure talked like he hopes it will be but....
Like I said, Rush is very animated when he speaks, and they SPEEDED IT UP to exaggerate it. If they're going to quote him, they should quote him IN CONTEXT, not slice out the parts that fit their "Rush is a heartless a$$**** for picking on poor Michael J. Fox" mantra. If you listen to him IN CONTEXT, that's not what he was saying at all. The part with him describing what the ad looked like to him was less than 10 seconds out of a one-hour discussion. The media took it, lied about it, and beat it like a dime-store drum.
Brilliantly put and so true! BRAVA
Which is another reason Rush should have known better. Honestly, that was a real letdown. He knows the vultures are always circling and to pull a stunt like that well, I thought he was a better person than that. My mistake.
That's where you're wrong...he didn't "pull a stunt". He was just discussing an ad. He didn't make fun of Michael J. Fox. He didn't mock Michael J. Fox. NOT ONCE! He wasn't even mocking Fox with his actions on-camera. I know, because I was listening. Anyone who actually listened to him would understand that he was discussing the contents of the ad, the validity of the contents (or the lack thereof), and the typical strategy of the Democrats to use victims to do ads of this type because the victims are seen as unassailable.
Sorry, but I don't think Rush did anything wrong here. I blame the media that lied about what he said, and then proceeded to parade Fox around from show to show to replicate the lie. Rush tried to give them his side of the story, and they wouldn't even listen.
I thought heyworth just said he wants the absentees counted?
more votes...
Thanks, Starwise. That's a nice picture!
This reminds me...I wonder what happened to all the Dem laywers who were standing by ready to contest the elections?
Where is Jesse Jackson and the main stream media's outcry against disenfrachisement?
I suppose to them voter fraud and election-stealing is only a concern when they lose.
Just want to interject something I heard on our local radio station..a lib show that follows Rush and Hannity..this local idiot thinks Bush should have asked Colin Powell to accept the postition of SecDef. Is that a hoot or what..the man who with Armatiage knew all about the Plame mess and let it go on and on and on...good lord there is no end to this....
