I agree, Johnnie. I just hope the Republicans get the message. And that the damage coming in the next two years can be repaired.

Agree 100% with your assessment. They wanted to lead because they supposedly have all the answers. We know they don't, and it will be funny watching Nancy chase cats for two years because the elected candidates are more Conservative than the demoncrat liberal leadership. Should make for many popcorn times over the next two years.I agree. I thought I wasn't going to have the stomach to get on here today by I am actually having a good time here this morning on Free Republic. It's damn funny!

Oh goody, if I hear one more Conservative pining for knights in shining armor, I will puke.
Considering Conservative voters just got rolled by the MSM/DNC/OBL telling them to vote out Conservatives, give up power, and become the minority for the next 40 years, all to punish Republicans.
And now they are self flagellating, claiming the high ground, and wishing upon a star for a savior.
Barf.

The mainstream media is a free source of campaign ads for the democrats.

Thanks Johnnie.
Now let's get to work and plan for 2008.
To: Excellence
This country will face hard times over the next several years, and in the end it may have been a blessing for the demoncrats to get majority status while this transpires. This was coming either way, and now we will hammer them for the next two years on a falling economy. Be careful demoncrats in what you ask for because sometimes you get it.

Geez, no kidding!
I'm already fed up with all of these retarded, whiny 'HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN TO ME?!!!" self pitying end-of-the-world threads.
Instead of cluttering up FR with their lamentations and recriminations, why don't they make a myspace page, start wearing black, and cut themselves out of our misery like all of the other internet drama queens do?
Sheesh.

Morning. Your state really took a hit last night. I see they elected that socialist Muslim guy. We got 2 in, Pawlenty and Bachmann
To: MNJohnnie
Our other job is to pick excellent candidates for 2008 in any race that is vulnerable in any way, and to see that we sell the electorate on the differences between our candidate and their opponent.

Yeah and we lost a good Congressman but it looks like we held on to our Rep Gov and our Amendment to limit Vehical Sales tax revenues to Transportation projects passed. How they went an voted for this pretty Conservative Amendment then turned around and voted for all these MN Socialists is simply incredible. A complete discontect between their values and who they line up like sheep to vote for.

Fresh meat for elrushbo....
this should be very entertaining
my prediction is that Rush presents the angle that a little suffering between now and 2008 will be a good thing ....
after all,... how much damage can they do ?, we still have veto, and the commander in chief controls troop deployment, not Pelosi/Murtha
