That's not quite right. Bolton CAN accept a second recess appointment. But he won't get more than $1 a year for it. I don't know how much money the guy has or if it's permitted for someone to reimburse his salary, but it COULD be done...
Based on the ever changing bar, every R is a RINO in someone's mind...
That's Presidential appointment isn't it?. I assume W will do another recess appointment.
oh geeeeshk....
this is just sickening....
Wrong...DNC media will paint a rosy picture for the DUmmies regardless of what they do.
Scandals only matter if it involves a REPUBLICAN.
I love the way Rush said, "I'll be with you."
We really need him now and he sounded very erudite in that last segment.
A new combinition of a liberated Rush with a bit of the pre-1994 spark back will be a joy. Regardless of what happens.
LOL!!
TRUE!
no wonder I am single...LOL!
could you imagine the torture I would put a man through....
Bush will have to do it in Jan, if he wants Bolton back.
maybe. but I didn't like the tone of the presser. I wanted to hear "I was relcuntant to accept this resignation, but sec'y Rumsfeld was adamant".
instead, we essentially heard that Bush has been considering this for a while now.
The Repubs in the House have been uncomfortable for the past 12 years, being in charge. They got what they wanted...the minority, where they are comfortable.
I blame Hastert for much of the Repub loss in the House, He was a horrible Majority Leader.
As Rush mentioned, they come into power with a 4.4% unemployment, a recored hight stock market and $2.08 gas.
We at this point prosecuted a war without a single loss in battle.
Now they have the House and Senate, so lets see if the economy, stock market and fuel prices get better or worse.
My position is if the main stream press weren't giving a 3 billion dollar advantage to the Democrats in help every year, Democrats would find it hard to get 40% of the vote.
I think you will be wrong, remember this was a press conference, he couldn't come off actimg like a sore loser. He is committed to keeping this country safe, he has never wavered on that and will use that veto pen if he has to. I really believe that. No one should judge him just because of a press conference."
You are absolutely right. He will never go squishy on national defense.
Another sacrifice Bush will make for the DUmmies/Al Queda.
You're ashamed of him???
There is nothing shameful about this man. He is trying to get the job done for all of us in this country, not just a chosen few all or nothing conservatives who demand everything and contribute nothing but hissyfits if they don't get their way.
Rush lost a lot of credibility though.
GOOD GRIEF! HECK NO!
LOL!
I am talking about the RINO's IN OFFICE.....
It took 60 votes to waive those budget rules the Senate has. We never get could them. It was either take 10 years or not get them at all. So he took 10 years. It's just sad that the d*mn Congress won't extend them, because without action you're entirely right. Charley Rangel has already bragged about more "fairness" for the POOOOOOORR people in society...
Why is this all happening now? Why can't Bush let things simmer a bit?
Bush seems to be reacting very rashly.
