Yeah - I remember that from back in the day when you had that popping up at DU.
Well, now it's payback time. Time to take back this country from the party that had power and no idea how to use it - except for war, higher oil prices, and letting terrorists attack us at home.
Weak at every turn from immigration to...well just about everything. bush let you down, leaders were humiliated and had to leave, and family values leaders fell to adultery and meth.
Tonight was like shooting fish in a barrel. Iraq is a mess. You won the war in a few days and lost in a few years of hell.

I will dog this side as much as I ever did to get things done. Thing is - why didn't you dog your side to do something all this time. Obviously the people saw the failure and acted.

Let's hear a coherent argument for how having democratic leadership in Congress is going to help conservatism. Are you up to the challenge?

You know, one can lose gracefully. I think thats what we are doing. We will mourn our country and the loss to our troops. Then we will pick ourselves up and dust ourselves off, and go on to fight another day. One can also win gracefully. You obviously don't know how to do that. Just a bunch of yukking it up like a stupid kid over in DU. Winning gracefully is what Bob Corker did tonight when he asked his supporters to give Harold Ford a hand. (your boy from Tennessee who got his ass handed to him)

In this instance, symbols and media play matter more than actual statistics.

I have seen a lot of darkness come out of this administration. YOU would have seen it too had it been a dem as president all this time. Apparently, you see this as a self-evident statement. I do not.
And are you seriously suggesting that Democrats provide a less-intrusive model of government on a person's life? I don't think you're being real honest about your conversion process. Probably not even with yourself.

You get a gold star for that post.

Of course, the MSM made sure that was a well kept secret.

I posted a rational reply to your previous post, what I do not understand from those debating from the liberal/dem side of things is how can you use this war (i.e. Bush and GOP's fault) as grounds to claim that Pres. Bush is responsible for raising gas prices?
It was Pres. Clinton in 1998 who authorized the Iraq Liberation Act, was launching missile strikes, furthermore the majority of Dems voted in favor of it.

bush let you all down, and obviously the voters agreed.
So you don't think the constant harping from the media had anything to do with it? If you were a freeper once, then you know Freepers are good people. I think you may want to come back here one day where there is a sense of decency, when you get fed up with the evil and hate over there. Maybe you shouldn't burn your bridges.

YOU REALLY are this stupid!
YOUR SIDE ran as Republican lite, lied about it whole agenda from taxes to Iraq and won. NOW, as your intital post shows, you expect them to go to DC and rule as rabid Leftistis!
Do you understand how incredibly stupid that is as a political tactic? YOU WON BY LYING. Good luck trying to win again after you go to DC and Bush Vetos every bit of your pathetic loser agenda so you get NOTHING done BUT DO get all the blame since you RUN CONGRESS.
What a total pathetic political ignorant fool you are. You have NO clue at all what a disaster this is for you.
When the Recession starts late in 2007 YOUR side is going to be blamed since YOU JUST TOOK OVER CONGRESS. Bush isnt on the ballot in 2008 fool YOUR people ARE.

And are you seriously suggesting that Democrats provide a less-intrusive model of government on a person's life? In some ways, yes (though not on smoking as an example). From requiring more and more information on you, etc, the last six years have seen a lot more intrusion in my life then the years prior to it.

Gee, no I don't remember you. I guess in your self-described 10,000 posts, I must not have found anything worthwhile from you. Apparently that hasn't changed.

So ruled by fear - ya know the left sees the RW christians as wanting to impose the same things as islamic folk want to? They oppose both - you oppose only one.
