And are you seriously suggesting that Democrats provide a less-intrusive model of government on a person's life? In some ways, yes (though not on smoking as an example). From requiring more and more information on you, etc, the last six years have seen a lot more intrusion in my life then the years prior to it.

I'm gonna have to call bullspit on this one. Didn't happen. And if it was intrusion, it wasn't a result of Bush's "curtailing" of your personal freedoms or because of the Patriot Act. Filling out your address so that Blockbuster knows where to send the bill and giving Radio Shack your zip code are not valid examples of "intrusion into your life".

From requiring more and more information...

You really meant "acquiring", I'd guess.

Intrusions in your life for the last six years? I'm torn between laughing and crying! I'm reminded of a line from an old song"

You tell me your dreams and I will tell you mine.

Intrusions. An interesting descripion of life's problems...never thought of them that way, but I doubt anyone escapes them; sadly they are part of life and I'm truly sorry for anything you have had to suffer.

How do they affect one's political ideology?
