But a pedophile amongst our ranks late in the election was just too much for them to swallow, had it been just typical stuff it would have been a blippit but this was a crime against a kid. Lets not forget nay, or abramoff or delay etc. Lets face it we came off as a freak show to voters.

Allen said somethng about this in his statement - said the news services had "transposed" numbers and he was actually ahead by about 5000 votes, with a few districts still to be counted, but things had been shut down for the night.......

If the base didn't vote in high enough numbers, then we'd best figure out why they didn't (and without DU-style whining about the stupid voters and all that.)

You'd better believe that the Dem victories have been built on the bedrock of their solid base turning out.

Any Rupublican who thinks that we can, today, win against Democrats without a fired up base is dreaming.

Why vote for a pale substitute moderate Republican when you can vote for the real thing -- a genu-wine Democrat?
