This is going to shock some people, but I am starting to think Katherine Harris might possibly lose. LOL

"that leaves Steele as our only possible chance at a pickup.

all the others, we have to defend - MT, VA, MI, RI"

No, Michigan is currently held by Stabenow (D), who in 2000 was down by 17 pointa in the last poll before the election---and won. Michigan is a hard state to predict. With Engler, they also severely underestimated the Republican in, was it, '96?

FOX is absolutely awful tonight. They are calling races left and right even though those races only have 2 or 3 percent reporting. Why the hell even have the election at all if they are just going to declare a winner after counting 2 percent of the votes.

Folks, just remember that few expected Kean, Santorum and Dewine to win. Corker is looking good, Allen is running close but also looking good, and we'll see about Steele, Chafee and Burns. If we get any 2 of those three we'll maintain 52 seats. Retaining the Senate majority is the name of the game; in my mind the House and/or minimizing losses in the Senate is secondary at this point.

Why is Fox calling PA for Casey with no precincts reporting?

He had so many "true conservatives" holding a grudge against him; I bet they voted against him.

I've held some things against Santorum, and have openly expressed them on this board, but have STILL voted for him every election, including this one.

"I knew Santorum was going down, but still it is sad to see. PA voted for a name. I hope they enjoy having a name as Senator, because the man it belongs to will prove not up to it."

I know it is hard to oust incumbents, but I doubt Casey will last longer than one term...he's LAZY.

Then again, what the heck do I know :)!

I just hope and pray I can move from PA to Florida within the next 4 years :)! While I love Pittsburgh, this place is falling apart :( !

Maybe Santorum could do like Hillary Clinton did---move to another state and run for the Senate.

"No real hope for Santorum in Pennsylvania, The state has never gone for Bush, it's not likely they'd reelect a true conservative."

HATE the media, Fox included.

It will be interesting to see what happens at all these networks once Joe is called the winner in the Cn US Senate race. That becomes a LOST seat for the Dims. I wonder if it will be reported that way?
