MADISON, Wis. -- One last celebrity plug, several pep rallies, and even more meet-and-greets marked the final day of Wisconsin campaigning Monday.
Gov. Jim Doyle, who is seeking to become the first Democrat re-elected governor in 32 years, welcomed actor Michael J. Fox to a rally in Milwaukee.
Fox, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, spoke about the governor's support for embryonic stem cell research. Fox, who had to occasionally brace himself as he twitched, referenced remarks conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh made two weeks ago accusing Fox of not taking his medication before cutting ads for Doyle.
''I recently had a run-in with a not-so-compassionate conservative,'' Fox said. ''He thinks I should wait until my symptoms go away before talking to you.''
Same here, now if we could just get the dead in Milwaukee and the Brain-dead in Madison not to vote, we might have an honest election in Wisconsin.
Not even an American. He should STFU.
He said on TV Rush's remarks didn't bother him.
That appears to be an untruth.
Ann Coulter was right.
They use a victim for every argument so they can't be attacked.
"He reads scripts and Dem talking points, but he doesn't read the bills he is promoting."
You've got that right.
Someone should point out there was just as good a chance that the cure for Parkinson's would come from not aborting the future scientist as it would playing with embyros.
"I'm suffering from an attack of good taste and will not directly embed the following joke graphic. However, I will link to it:"
I watched it and am suffering from an attack of LAUGHTER now.
It would seem that Mr. Fox is Canadian. He may hold US citizenship; he remains, however, a foreigner.
SLACKER!
Not sure you can get sicker than that unless you're ripping open a baby's skull with scissors.
You have to be one sick puppy to endorse embryonic stem cell research. What next? Abortion farms with bounties for high-quality embryonic stem cells? May God have mercy on these misguided souls.
