MADISON, Wis. -- One last celebrity plug, several pep rallies, and even more meet-and-greets marked the final day of Wisconsin campaigning Monday.
Gov. Jim Doyle, who is seeking to become the first Democrat re-elected governor in 32 years, welcomed actor Michael J. Fox to a rally in Milwaukee.
Fox, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, spoke about the governor's support for embryonic stem cell research. Fox, who had to occasionally brace himself as he twitched, referenced remarks conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh made two weeks ago accusing Fox of not taking his medication before cutting ads for Doyle.
''I recently had a run-in with a not-so-compassionate conservative,'' Fox said. ''He thinks I should wait until my symptoms go away before talking to you.''

The AP thinks it's important. The AP exists to elect Democrats.

Every time Fox opens his mouth these days, he loses about an inch in height. I figure by the end of the year he won't have to worry about the Parkinsons because he'll have shrunk down to nothing.
I've lost any respect I ever had for that twerp.

Why don't Michael J. Fox and his Hollywood buddies fund this embryonic stem cell research, instead of trying to force us to fund it for them?

He reads scripts and Dem talking points, but he doesn't read the bills he is promoting.

A 'brilliant' idea!
But that would require the Hollyweird types to put their money where their stem cells (and their mouths) are.
Much easier and economical to stick it to the public.

You got it, AG! Mr. Fox told a lie about the promise of embryonic stem cells. Rush said it was "cruel" to give sick people false hope. But the press reports otherwise to make old Rush-Bo look like a creep.
They should be ashamed. But they ain't.

Rush never said that, and Fox has never read the text of the Missouri amendment.
