Lack of ballots at NM (heavily GOP) precinct

Just heard on the radio that a heavily republican precinct in NM district 1 (Wilson / Madrid race) had only 150 printed ballots this morining. As of 7 AM, there were over 200 people in line to vote. This is a mostly GOP-favorable precinct. The poll workers were actucally turning people away, telling them they'll call them (yeah, right) when new ballots are available. Heather Wilson was interviewed and she said it is criminal to have so few ballots (150 for over 2000 registered voters) for this polling location (this problem wasn't reported for Dem-leaning locations, of course). Lawyers for both sides are are on scene.

lol, isn't funny that the dead, illegal aliens, convicts, and mentally retarded always vote Democrat? The base can tell you allot about the party.
(OK, not funny)

Memory chips burned out in 50 machince, not enough replacements. Ballots not being tallied as cast, but just dropped in boxes. Most of these are Albuquerque precincts.
Also Sandoval Co republican reported dem operative attempting to intimidate voters in line out by RIo Rancho.

The Dim legeslature pushed through a paper ballot system after Richardson failed to deliver NM for Kerry in 2004. We had a touchscreen system up until then.

The problem this thread was posted on is in a very well off area of Albuquerque. The dems have been expecially flagrant in their corruption this election cycle. Bill Richardson and the dem legislature brought back paper ballots with just this kind of chicanery in mind.

They don't have the touch screen in that area? After the 2004, the Dems got paranoid about Diebold and touch screens, and all the new equipment was deep-sixed and they went back to paper ballots with optical screeners.

Any decent printer could run off
a thousand in less than an hour.
In fact, any kid in high school
print shop could do it!
Well...isn't this the way those
zillions of lawyers are to earn
their pay for the day?

Just folks calling into the local radio station.
Now reports of Dim supported taunting voters turned away at precinct 602 for being Repub whiners.

Jeez, they still haven't found all the ballots that Judy Woodward hid in her storage shed in the 90's. :(

Do you know where in Rio Rancho this took place?
To: Cooter
the question at the end of the day is how many votes are counted here if only 175 ballots are given out?
To: ChicagoConservative27
That so dumb. That's NM business as usual.

Going to be another long night tonight and tomorrow. Sigh...
BTW, why would the Dems intimidate out in RR; that's in District 3, isn't it (Rat Udall an easy winner)?

Yeah, usually I'm glad when Pat signs off and Rush comes on, but today I'd like wall-to-wall local coverage of all the dirty deeds being done.

Jeez!
I have a feeling that this whole week is going to be chaos.
(Note to republican voters: Walking away from the voting booth before you use it is a vote for the librat party of terrorist supporters -DON'T LET THEM TRY THIS CRAP WITH YOU!)

Parts of it are District 1, there was a big stink over redistricting awhile back.
