Take a look at independent voters. There are more of them than before, especially in the West. More than 25 percent of Arizona voters now register as independent or third-party voters. And according to a Washington Post-ABC News poll, they've shifted sharply toward the Democrats in this fall's elections.

Can you please name a few of them for me, as I genuinely would like to debate them. Also, for as many names as you give me, I'll give you three times the amount of libertarian freepers who voted R yesterday. Fair enough?
You might actually try applying that to what I've written to you on this thread.
Lying sack of dog crap. There isn't an ounce of commonality between the LP and DNC platforms.
Private property? RKBA? Free markets? Lower taxes? Constitutional government? Individual responsibility?
Those are things the LP is FOR and the DNC is AGAINST.
Put down the crack pipe and go play in your sand box for a while.
Why should I do your homework for you regarding your own folks. If you are truly interested you would do that yourself.
Because I'm registered to the GOP. I'm a large R Republican.
As for your folks, or those folks who claim to be your folks, supporting the LP platform...it's their support of the DNC platform that is in play.
Could you possibly rephrase that? I honestly don't understand what you're trying to say.
Are libertarians for borders and national sovereignty? That's a major issue that conservatives and libertarians could unite on.
Reading comprehension is obviously another skill lacking in your group. Is that what attracts you to the "little l" movement...no need to grapple with difficult concepts?
It has nothing to do with commonality in the platforms but everything to do with commonality in advancing the DNC platform by electing Democrats to office.

It's not a difficult concept...really.
There's the rub. Some feel that without all the welfare/free medical care for illegals, that only those truly willing to come here and be Americans would be the ones wanting to come here.
A LOT of us, mostly self described "l"ibertarians, see an open border as an open invitation to groups like Al Queda to attack us. It's a "tresspassing" issue in large part as well. If all the land along the border was privately owned, land owners would be within their Rights to repel invaders with deadly force.
National sovereignty is big. Kicking out the UN is a hot button issue and a priority if we'd remain a free country.
The GOP not mustering up a full set of testicles and sticking to the Constitution isn't our fault dumbass.
Actually, I do. The last time I was solicited for donations by the Republicans, I asked the person if they'd mind answering questions so I could verify they were who they said they claimed to be. They said that would be fine, so I asked them what the definition of a repblic was. They didn't have a clue.
LOL! It's "dumbass" statements like that that define you. Granted, it is far easier then real thought or effort.
The Libertarian Party is flaky on those issues, but almost all of the libertarians on FR are strong supporters of both. Other issues libertarians and conservatives can unite on are...
Another poster on this thread is arguing that people like me have no place in the conservative movement. I'm trying to make the case that in these times, we need to work together united against the Democrats. If you don't mind my asking, which of us do you agree with?
You can say that for the LP'ers...they are real good in defining the rhetoric. It's translating that into reality or action that is beyond their grasp.
While I would dearly love to listen to more pearls of LP wisdom I'm affraid I have more pressing matters. It's time to apply another coat of mud to the drywall and frankly, watching mud dry is far more interesting.
This from the guy that hasn't a clue about libertarianism and won't bother to even think about trying to puzzle it out.
You are either a DU troll or a badly written shell script.
You are having a bad day...there's plenty of room for you.
But I didn't.
Independents and Libertarians handed the nation's security to the Dhimmicrats yesterday.
Independents and Libertarians must be among the stupidest people in the USA--they actually believe the nation is safer with Pelosi as Speaker of the House and Reid as the Senate Majority leader.
You can say that for the LP'ers...they are real good in defining the rhetoric.
For the first time on this thread, you are 100% correct. The Libertarian Party does NOT represent libertarianism, much like the Republican Party forgets that we are a constitutional republic.
