Tell us what you saw today at your voting place.
The funniest thing I saw was an idiot liberal zombie at the front of the line asking for one of those Democrat instruction cards that tells you how you're supposed to vote on every ticket and referendum.
I voted early in my small West Texas city and it was very, very busy, with a line out the door. Two days later I went with hubby to early vote and it was just as busy. This is a heavy Republican area. There has been good turn out here so far.

For cross-reference, only. =)
Took me just a few minutes to get in and out. Voted straight ticket. No line but many people moving thru. Raining in northeast Indiana.
I always get a little emotional when I go to vote. I just know it really matters!!
God Bless America!!
Heh-heh!
I'm voting at 10:00 this morning as I'm meeting my 86 year old mom at the polls. We use paper ballots, fill in a line of an arrow pointing at the candidates name, and slide them into an optical scanner. Talking to our local Probate Judge recently, she mentioned that we've only had two recounts during her four term tenure. Both recounts resulted in identical numbers as the original count. I thought that was pretty cool.
Northern NJ, solidly read, no line but solid trickle...3 booths full, and as each person finished there spot was taken almost immediately...this was at 8 after the initial rush...the hubby will go at 5:30 so we'll get a better feel then.
Light Turnout in Shakopee, MN at my precinct. I was the 28th ballot at 7:30 am.
MN is all Electronic Scan, so smooth as silk.
Guy in front of me had to register same day, but he lived with his parents and parents were on the roll and vouched for him. Looked like good Conservatives.
Longest line I have seen since I moved to Virginia at 7:20AM. All the poll workers were big radical Democrats. That didn't look promising.
Central Missouri
Option of a paper ballot run through an optical scanner or one electronic voting machine that looked like it was taking more time than processing the paper ballot.
I opted for a paper ballot. I arrived 7 minutes after the polls opened and when my ballot was scanned, I was the 97th voter.
I was stopped on the way to my car by a local reporter. She asked "What brought you out to vote today?"
#1 Keeping the Republicans in charge to prosecute effectively the war on terror.
#2 Voting no for every state constitutional amendment.
#3 Voting no for Amendment 2 (stem cell initiative) Companies should not be allowed to buy an amendment to the Missouri Constitution for $30 million dollars. It was deliberately deceptive and a poorly written amendment.
I'm for stem cell research, but this amendment is over the top.
Wife and I haven't voted yet,but the people we have talked to have (early this morning). Central Mo. Large crowds and long lines. The "cloning" amendment and the Talent race has brought out conservitive voters out in big numbers so far. One lady that does business with my wife couldn't believe the crowd at her polling place which is in a VERY small town.
In and out in 5 minutes at my polling place here in SE Indiana. No difficulties - though the poll worker (Who I know personally) got a good laugh when I asked for a ballot for my 2 boys who went with me to vote.
I am in Pence's district so nothing earth shattering should happen here.
If the bellweather polling location of the Forest Meadow Baptist Church of Yrrisari, New Mexico is any indication, we have this one in the bag! ;)
As goes Yrrisari, so goes the NATION!
Reporting from the People's Republic of Alexandria. Voted straight Republican!
Since Clinton campaigned here yesterday, I expected a much heavier turnout of his faithful. But, no more than in 2002 and not as many as 2004 voted today in this time period.(6:30 - 9:00)
I live in a gated golf course community in the Phoenix area. We have our own polling place onsite. I went at 6:30 this morning. There were eight booths. I did not have to wait but by the time I was done, there was a short line...about three people.
Arrived at 6:00 - about 8 people in line ahead of me - showed ID twice - voted in about 10 minutes - looked like a small, but steady stream of voters coming through behind me (very conservative district)
BWAAHAHAHAHAAA!!!
Alcohol sales will go up, the economy will get even better. They can't win.
East-Central Wisconsin, small town. Fairly long line at the polls at 7:15 A.M.
Upstate NY - very light at 9 am.
I voted early (with child #4 in tow - we ALWAYS take our children whenever we vote) so I can spend time later on my National GOP GOTV call list, and then go do some phone banking for final local GOTV in the early evening.
