Dear Sirs,
CNN has chosen to wage war on the Republican Party. Some of us, if eventually not all of us at Free Republic, have decided to wage war on you. You will soon find yourselves on the wrong side of an argument over truth and fairness and we believe your network will be seriously damaged by that argument.
After the election, if our effort is successful, GOP Congressmen, Senators, and other political figures will begin to refuse to come on your network or provide interviews for any purpose. As our momentum grows we hope to get enough right-thinking people on board to make it difficult for CNN to find a token Republican face to put on the air. (You can probably still count on Chuck Hagel.)Our goal is to create a buzz, a cacophany of voices determined to strip from CNN any remaining legitimacy as a serious "news" organiztion.
There will be an organized effort to reveal the totality of the blatantly partisan effort CNN has undertaken to help one political party defeat another. A very public outcry by GOP leaders, conservative politicians, and legions of conservative talk-show host will question your basic fairness and fidelity to the American values of honesty and integrity.
Example after example of your incredible bias will be put forth both in public statements and speeches in House Orders. The boycott will last for months if not years. You will be forced to admit the complete absence of ideological and intellectual diversity in your organization. You will be held up as an example of a liberal totalitarian culture where group-think is not only preferred but is required. When our organization gets done with CNN most of America will see your network for what it is....a poorly disguised propaganda organ for the DNC and extreme left.
CNN is run and staffed by people that think the truth is whatever they want it to be and are perfectly comfortable shaping the news to fit their own agendas. The evidence is abundant and the argument is an easy one. By your own actions you have made yourselves incredibly vulnerable. CNN has absolutely no defense for the truth in this matter and you will lose in the court of public opinion. At least millions of more people will be made aware of your outrageous behavior and hopefully they will do what every decent American I know is doing....turning off CNN and asking their family and friends to do the same.

Boycotting CNN will have little or no affect on them. Better yet boycott their advertisers and tell their advertisers exactly why you are.
Funny that you say this tonight. We never watch CNN but 2 years ago on Election Night, they were giving better coverage than Fox News so we skipped back and forth. I hope Fox News will be the quickest to update what's important tomorrow, or people will not keep from watching Communist News Network.
If I may suggest - they've not just declared war on the Republican party - it's an all out propaganda attack against the US. Our troops do not have DNC or GOP stamped on their sleeves - they wear the colors of our country. And to continue to smear them and join in the smearing by the DNC, it's not just an affront to good sensibilities, it's near traitorous.
Oh, I thought it was the "Lynne Cheney Come get Bitch Slapped Channel"......well it was when Blitzer was on with her.
You are absolutely right on target with your sentiment, if not your specific approach. One way or another (boycotting sponsors, refusing cable packages that include CNN, not using hotels that don't carry Fox, etc.) something has to be done. Propaganda has been and continues to be a powerful weapon of the left. It must be battled, and defeated.
After Lynn CHeney left and wasn't there to defend herself, Blitzer called on Cafferty, Dobbs, the internet chick, and other CNN Libs to cheap shot her.

Me too. And also MSNBC and ALL of the network news shows like CBS, NBC, ABC. I also do not subscribe to ANY newspaper. I've learned that many seemingly innocuous newspapers are OWNED by the Liberal Spin Machine. There are plenty of ways to stay informed, and FR is the best of all!

Same here! It's scary to think of the time where they were the only option for news on demand and Al Gore still hadn't invented the internet.
Fox is too lefty as it is... but it's by far the best choice available.
If Fox would scratch Juan and Greta, it would be a hugh improvement.
Ditto! I don't even know who the actors are now. I saw a small portion of it a few years back (might have been at a friends house) some lady named Woodruff was crying because her guy lost the election :) My other friend said the communists had taken over that station so I haven't been back.
Follow the money. Soros and his cronies have been VERY BUSY buying up the OLD LIBERAL MEDIA and its editors.
