I'm starting a 24 hour Prayer thread for our country . Offically it won't begin until 7pm, but post early if you want. Volunteers needed.

Joining you in prayer for this election that this Country will still be governed by those that love America after tomorrow night. God Bless the United States of America and help guide the voters tomorrow to vote for America not the terrorists.

Dear Lord, let your will be done in all things. Raise up men and women who will do what it takes to keep America free and great. It would seem that a great many have turned their backs on you, but you know who are yours. Father, I pray that you will cause your people to vote and to keep this great country free. You read my mind, I was thinking of a similar prayer thread for today, heaven knows our country needs it.

Lots of prayer for the elections tomorrow, our great country, and lots for our troops overseas.

Especially for Rick Santorum.

On a sidenote, I think we should post a prayer thread everytime there is a major fire. I keep thinking about those five firefighters who died such horrific deaths recently. Don't want to ever see that repeated; what are your thoughts?

Hi, OldFriend. Let's also pray that the people in this country care more for the safety of the country and their families than for party and in the privacy of the voting booth decide to keep the Republicans in office. Without that majority, we'll prove the jihadists are right -- that Americans are cut and runners and can't tolerate body bags.

The day this country goes the way of Spain is the day all is lost and I wouldn't blame our military men and women if they quit en masse.

The Saddam verdict helped yesterday too. If the election was Thursday instead of Tuesday, I'd feel entirely confident.

What an excellent idea, CindyDawg. In spite of the inundation of dreadful polling results (that I believe are tweaked by liberal pollsters), I remain optimistic. I believe that God loves America as we do, and would never allow a takeover by those who appear to hate us. Honor, morals, manners, and acts of kindness make this country great. Rarely do I see these characteristics in the liberal left. I pray that God looks upon us all at this precarious time.
