My daughter is in the Air Force!
I just found out that she won't be able to vote!
She is stationed in the Azores!
Why won't our government let our Military vote?
If the military vote was included we wouldn't have a second Clinton scumbering!!
We need to have some way for all our Soldier's votes to count when the Clinton 2008 War machine races into action to take over the WH again.

Thanks for the info...I guess Il allows this....(which I can't believe lol)
NO sure if she is from a state that permits email ballots.
She should have been able to vote absentee. I was stationed at Lajes Field in the Azores myself during the 1992 elections. I messed up my ability to vote because I was registered in Arizona--but I used my grandparent's house in Florida is my home of record so I wouldn't pay Arizona income taxes. (shhhh) The problem was I wasn't registered in Florida. Most of my colleagues were able to vote without a problem.
I wish I had sent him an absentee ballot in the regular mail rather than expect the military to fulfill their obligation.
DRAT.....slick willie won both times.
The military abroad are voting by the internet this year so they don't have to worry about their ballots being lost. Not sure of the exact details but it is supposed to make sure the military can vote with no problems.
Some states will not allow the email votes.
She's Gitmo Sailor's daughter. I told him I would post the thread for him and he has since disappeared. Maybe it's his supper time in AZ.
I haven't read the thread, yet, so perhaps this question has already been asked:
What was the date of her request for an absentee ballot (AB). Those who request AB's have to allow enough time for their County Auditor to receive the request, process it, and return it so it can be voted and returned.
Clearly, the process can't happen overnight.
. A New Jersey congressman raised questions Thursday about a new military voting program that lets service members request and submit their ballots by fax or e-mail.
Wait until the dust clears and the Dems find they do not have the House or Senate on Wednesday morning. They'll pick up on a couple of members of the armed forces and "Katrina" this. They'll hypocritically whine people were being disenfranchised due to incompetence, blah, blah, blah........
She can download a Federal Write-in Absentee Ballot online, fill it out (names of the persons she's voting for and positions thier). I've done this before because my absentee ballot was sent to the wrong address.
Some states allow the ballot to be faxed to their county Registar of Voters. Hopes this helps:

Her state of record should have online information about canditates and issues on the ballot.
HI Granny, maybe she will be able to get it by email if she lives in a state the permits it.
I forgot to mention the obvious:
Your daughter has to be registered to vote in the state, county, precinct she wants to vote. I don't believe any exceptions are made to allow our troops to vote without registering first.
If she filed the paperwork in time, she can vote. If not, she can't. The same is true of civilians.
In 2004, my ballot was mailed to Korea. I emailed WA and told them well in advance I would be TDY to the states, of all things, but they mailed it to Korea anyways. The election passed before I got to my ballot.
It happens.
Oh, I despised that man.
Now I have a great conservative, Mike Ferguson.
The state of Maine is supposed to send them. They wouldn't let me pick them up for them.
Not quite a RINO but close.
