'Fixing' the Election

Dear Lonely at the Top, I'm worried that my parakeet is about to defeat Orrin Hatch for election to the U.S. Senate. See, I run a company that makes voting machines. Just for testing purposes, I inserted "Crazy Daisy" into the software in nine states. Now my techies are telling me that the bird stands a good chance of winning in Utah. What should I do? Holding My Breath Dear Holding, Let's see. I guess my first question is: Where does your parakeet stand on gay marriage?

It should come as no news that Business Week is a Democratic house publication masquerading as an unbiased weekly for investors, but this takes the cake!

Business Week is -- wink, wink, nudge, nudge -- almost stating flat-out that the evil Republicans are rigging the election.

I tthink the editor needs a note telling him to roll his magazine into a tight tube and stick it in the most appropriate place.

Hey, no problem ... I'll just go into the booth on tuesday evening, plug my Blackberry into the Diebold machine, download the cumulative results .. and then if I don't like what I see on the screen, upload my own ... no sweat, anyone can do it
