The UN on Sunday criticized the decision to sentence Saddam Hussein to death, calling upon local authorities to refuse the to hang the ex-leader.
UN Human Rights Commission head Louise Arbour said that the "appeal process is reliable and a vital part of the fair judicial procedure." Army Radio reported. She said that "the results of the appeal will what they will be," and Arbour expressed hope that the Iraqi government would suspend its death sentence.

The UN HRC consistently refused to discuss Saddam's crimes, and looked the other way while the Secretariat (Kofi and his gang) grew rich from the corruption of Iraq's oil for food program. Naturally, they do not want to see their benefactor and business partner swing at the end of a rope.
Get this cesspool and its attendant vermin out of the United States, and vice versa. Move it to Paris or, better yet, Caracas. The UN staff would love that, with billions in petro-bribes are freely available again.

The UN would take bribes to determine where they'd move to, and demand that the United States pay the cost, since they're ejecting the load of turds.

Get this cesspool and its attendant vermin out of the United States Remember, a good way to keep an eye (or ear) on what the enemy is doing is to be near the decision makers. I agree the UN is about as useful as dirty toilet paper, but someone made this comment to me and I found it wise.

That would work, but if you put it in Belgium say next to the lefty World Court, we'd have these creeps contained and could fly C-130's overhead with MOAB's loose in open cargo bay's on days when there's maximum turbulence in the atmosphere.

Many of the dictators who are represented at the U.N. worry that the same thing could happen to them.
