Forgive the vanity, but I haven't seen it posted before. Remember 2004 when the liberals BOMBARDED exit polls and interviewers about how they all voted for Kerry? This led to the leftists claiming "fraud" later because they said these interviews were more accurate thatn the actual vote counts in places like Ohio. I am asking my fellow Freepers to give as many interviews to the press as they can, explaining that the reason they voted Republican was BECAUSE of Kerry's comment. In fact, we can claim we were "going to vote for the democrat until then". This would

1) Show the MSM that their attempts to supress and excuse Kerry's insult not only didn't work, but actually motivated people against the dems.

2) Punish the MSM for being such blatant cheerleaders for the left

3) Keep Kerry's comment in the public eye longer (where it should be)

4) Ruin the liberals complaining about a (yet another) "stolen" election.

I didn't vote Republican because of sKerry. There was a lot more to my choosing to vote the way I did than John sKerry.

I think that you seriously misinterpreted my post. I voted almost straight Republican [1 Dem in the bunch at the local level]. sKerry was pretty far down on my list of reasons to vote as I did.

"I didn't vote Republican because of sKerry" - is pretty obvious you said "I DIDN'T VOTE REPUBLICAN" - so be more careful how you word things so as not to give the wrong impression. I didn't "misinterpret" what you said - I replied to what you said!

This gives me an idea. As I run the gauntlet of campaign workers handing out literature as I go into the polling place, I think I will tell the Rats that it was Jon Carry's botched joke that made me switch to the Republican side. That will really piss them off.
