Islamic Education Center Has Opened In My Neighborhood - Need Help/Advice (Vanity)

I need help and advice from my fellow FReepers. I just found out that an Islamic Education Center (Alabama Islamic Center to be precise) has opened about a block from my home.

I'm not in the least bit happy about this and want to see them GONE!

It is located in a commercially zoned area. BTW, the location of this place isn't more than a few miles from an Army base.

Other than phoning my city councilman and protesting its existence, any suggestions on what can be done to get them to close their doors?

Um, just leave alone or spy on them. I lived right next to one in Illinois and they never bothered anyone.

What happens is Americans fill up their gas guzzling SUV's, which makes saudi princes rich, who in turn throw millions at funding the spread of both terrorism and islam in the USA.

I think it would be a civil rights violation to get them closed, unless you got them on zoning?

Contrary to popular belief they are all are not terrorists or evil. (Kinda like the democrats when you think about it). However, if you were to see things that looked subversive or hostile then phone something in to the FBI or Dept. of Homeland Security.

Recruit a Temple for the left of the center and a Catholic Church to sit on the right side. That should take care of any issues.

I would keep a very close eye on who comes and goes, even to the point of taking video if necessary. It might not be a bad idea to let the vermin know that they're being watched.

Talk to your neighbors. They probably hate the idea as much as you do. That alone won't force the ragheads to leave, but if you can keep round-the-clock surveillance on the rat's nest, it should send a message that they are not welcome.

If all else fails, organize a protest. Be respectful of their property, and do not engage them physically (unles it's to defend yourself) but let them -- and all passersby -- know that this cancer is being permitted only over your most strenuous objections.

Other than that, I don't know that there's much you can do about it within the legal framework.

I don't get it. Localities can restrict licenses for porno shops and adult movie emporiums, and all that's happening in THEM is good, old-fashioned depravity. Why can't they restrict Muslim infestations?

If they don't break the law and keep to themselves, any stink you make about their being there is only going to play straight into the hands of the Dhimmicrat media. They'll paint you as a knuckle-dragging intolerant neanderthal even if said Islamic education center preaches the virtues of honor-killing and honor-rape.

And don't expect our "leaders" to do any better. After all, they'll remind you, Islam is a "religion of peace"!

I suggest you take a look at IslamicFinder.org. That will list all the mosques, et al, in your vicinity.

The answer for my town is zero.
