Yep, we are. Nobody said this United States of America experiment was going to be easy.
It's sort of like Murtha's reputation as a hawk; when you really look at his voting record it simply means he voted for defense programs that would bring money to his district or to his cronies. Some hawk!
They may have learnt that lesson from 2004
Maybe John Edwards means he will SUE THE WORLD to get that title...
I just find the fact that he is out giving speeches, just so hilarious....he had only a LITTLE credibility in 2004...and even less now...but, he is going around telling how Bush has messed up everything in America....ugh
On Saddam and the evidence that will hang him (scroll)

He who controls the media controls the message. They have all of the alphabets, and if they are controlling Fox, we will lose that too. They have the newspapers as well, although they are being driven out of business. They do not have radio or the internet so get in flank 2 position, folks, because they are coming after us. And don't forget the courts.
Russert does seem to be close to bursting a vein when he gets wound up.
Good point.
As we all know the MSM admitted as much in the 2004 election. They figured the press was good for helping Kerry by as much as 15% and steering voters.
But one thing this year that really stands out. We all have been saying the bias in the media is there...but this year it seems sooooooooo obvious..that even the casual viewer has to at least see what we have been talking about. I mean
CNN ... Broken Govt MSNBC .. weeklong tirade runup to elections to get rid of republicans.
The turning point for how obvious it was to me was the Kerry quote. All the networks had their political pundits up EARLY the next morning explaining why the quote would not hurt Dems and explain it away. I mean...they all looked like they just got out of bed and were doing damage control. And then the infamous picture from my hometown boys here in Minnesota...just slammed them.
Now this boils my butt! The Army, Air Force, Navy Times are not offical newspapers of the services, but rather owned by none other than Gannet, publishers of USAToday, a filthy commie rag! While I was in still, Gannet bought them out (they were indepents until then) and immediately started a Left Wing tilt. I always wondered if Gannet bought them in order to hurt morale. They tried.
"Where is your proof that the shift is just statistical noise? "
In the same envelope with your proof that it isn't.
NOTHING will keep me from voting on Tuesday
agreed--NO Angle, NO Cameron + Yes to Brian Wilson
But ABC gives Howard Dean equal time to respond to the recorded interview with Dick Cheney, no doubt after letting Howie and his cadre of writers carefully study the tape. Knowing how they work I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they let the DNC "consult" on the edits of the Vice President's interview.
If my predictions of Republican gains in this election do pan out I'd live to see the first interview with folks like Doctor Howie.
Here's what will happen Tuesday. The phony polls have us down 6 which is w/in the margin of bias/error. The Silent Majority will come out in force and you will see a Red Tide across the Red States. Look for wins in those close races and pick-ups in both Houses.
The only question is whether the Rats come out and do they have anything to vote for?
Pray for W and The Election
I loved his reply to the editorial...
Why would a newspaper do a SECOND editorial on a candidate it did not endorse?
That hit the nail on the head for me who the Post is shilling for and what they will do for them.
He makes rational decisions(after consulting with his generals) for the welfare of the country, something the rats couldn't do if their lives depended on it. And a major reason why they should never get any power anywhere!! They simply don't know what to do without taking a poll.Bubba proved that time and time again.
"...He normally smacks the crap out of Juan and Mara."
In case you hadn't noticed, both Juan and Mara have moved a bit to the right recently. Mara, I believe, because she is seeing the light and Juan because his son is a staunch Republican.
Thanks, rod. I had to be away from the keyboard for about an hour. Trying to catch up. The Captain is a great source; his commenters are interesting. My favorite is Carol Herman. You can hear her thinking about what she's typing and she doesn't stop to proofread.
Makes my day!!
