By CHRISTOPHER BODEEN, Associated Press Writer 38 minutes ago
SNIP
BAGHDAD, Iraq - Iraq's prime minister on Saturday urged his countrymen to accept the impending verdict against Saddam Hussein without violence, then in the next breath declared the former dictator must get "what he deserves" with the decision that could send him to the gallows.

Doing handstands during lunch makes it so difficult to swallow your meal. Not only that, the troops can be a bunch of smartasses (endearingly, or course.) I wouldn't hear the end of if for WEEKS. LOL
The guy who bet with me (he's going down) originally wanted me to do a deliberatley off-key, very bad performance of "Close to You" by the Carptenters at Karaoke Night here. I'm a trained volcalist who has worked semi-professionally....I just couldn't go along with that one. The handstand thing is a second choice.

I've thought about soy milk because I really miss being able to eat cereal as a snack or for dinner. What does soy milk taste like?

OH MY GOSH - the "denial" is that US believed 52 AlQaeda dead while Iraqis claimed 53 ??? unbelievable!

I have about a cup of cooked apples left and want to wrap it in some sort of pastry, just for myself while I'm waiting for the verdict. Any ideas? Sounds TOO darn GOOD!
Maybe over ice cream or a graham cracker crust? Easy to make and quick. Butter, sugar and graham cracker crumbs.

Is it about 10am over there? Is the verdict really about ready to be announced, or will it be delayed?

Yes ma'am...I will.
That situation makes it even MORE imperative that we don't give the dems power back...there are too many of them sympathetic to the likes of Ortega.

Do you have a Luby's Cafeteria close to you? Their cornbread stuffing is the best.

You can actually do an apple quesadilla, really good if you lightly fry it, add a little cinnamon, glass of Brandy :-)

The BBC's website is already beginning the whining:
Many critics have dismissed the trial as a form of victors' justice, given the close attention the US has paid to it.
Lawyers for Saddam Hussein have also accused the government of interfering in the proceedings - a complaint backed by US group, Human Rights Watch.
The former leader's lawyers have also attacked the timing of the planned verdict - days before the US votes in mid-term elections.

I used to perform in highschool and in college and it isn't easy to deliberately sing off key. I doubt I could stand on my head these days though. I'm sure something very bad would happen to me, and it would probably require medical attention.
