Nah, I have had CAT and MRI scans for cochlear implants, but my hearing is "good" enough that I am not a candidate for cochlear implants. There is a certain threshold which ear specialists abide by, and I haven't crossed over that threshold, even though I have 80% hearing loss. (basically deaf).

What I do have are powerful digital hearing aids. The "in the ear" hearing aids advertised on TV would be worthless to someone like me.

I've basically got hearing aids with the computing power of a 2 GHz desktop computer that cost $4500 each. I couldn't afford paying for both, so my folks paid for one and I paid for the other.

I get what you're saying, but I'm wondering if these State by State intiatives qualify as the State initiated process to make a Constitutional Amendment once 33 States pass basically the same bill, like the one that was passed in the 90s, the 27th I believe, that took over 200 years to pass but finally, a 33rd State voted for it and it became an Amendment. I hope these gay marriage bans would be the same. That would remove the RINO and liberal influence in the Congress and take it totally out of their hands. And I believe there are EASILY 33 states that it would pass in, especially sine several BLUE states have passed gay marriage bans. I think it's over 20 states that have it now, or very close to 20. Colorado will be another one. I'll be surprised if it doesn't pass there.
