I've given it some thought and I'm not in a profession where I have to go out of my way to be nice to LIEberals, so I understand where he is coming from. I see it as appeasement of the enemy, but I'm sure Sean still believes he can convert a few lost causes.

Hugh Hewitt: What The MSM Doesn't Know And Doesn't Care To Find Out
When unique visitors to HughHewitt.com crashes through 125,000 on a single day, I know the public is engaged.

Cal Thomas: The 2006 choice
If conservatives believe enough has not been done to advance their agenda, let them work to elect more conservatives, not hand control of Congress over to a party controlled by far-left liberals who have no intention of moderating their tone or watering down their beliefs after the election.

Larry Elder: Low black voter turnout -- who's to blame?
The so-called black leadership wants blacks to think of themselves as victicrats.

Emmett Tyrrell: Not a normal election
What throughout the decades of the Cold War was called the Liberal Establishment has been drained of ideas and meaning. It is what historians call an Old Order, a passing Old Order.

David Strom: What John Kerry Really Meant
John Kerry, Democrat Senator from Massachusetts and 2004 candidate for President is back in the news reminding us all why we didn?t vote for him.

Jerry Newberry: With 'A' Company: The Grunts
The KOP isn't a very big place, not much more than a scrape on the side of a mountain. The troops that call the KOP ?home? live under harsh and extreme conditions ... so it doesn't take long before you start recognizing faces and putting names to those faces. In a brief time, they become your friends.

Janice Shaw Crouse: The Girls Who Loved the Greatest Generation Guys
Greatest Generation guys - young men who considered their military service a badge of honor and who wore their military identity with quiet pride. I grew up knowing that the Marines were heroes because my dad told us about his "buddies."
http://www.townhall.com/columnists/JaniceShawCrouse/2006/11/01/the_girls_who_loved_the_greatest_generation_guys
Henry Edmondson: Education Woes
A report, issued by the non-partisan ?Education Schools Project,? alleges that most education schools are engaged in a "pursuit of irrelevance," with curricula in disarray and faculty disconnected from classrooms and colleagues.
http://www.townhall.com/columnists/HenryEdmondson/2006/11/01/education_woes
Marvin Olasky: Hungary, Iraq and shredding machines
Iraqis have endured oppression for decades. They now face the prospect of more tyranny unless the United States stays the course

Rich Galen: Uh, oh. You mean I was right?
If Pelosi becomes Speaker of the House, her constituents will demand she reward them with policies they (and the rest of the Howard Dean/MoveoOn.org wing of the Democratic party) are panting with desire to embrace.

Chuck Colson: Is It a Sin not to Vote?
That?s a question that?s been very much in the news in the wake of the supposed exposé by David Kuo, author of Tempting Faith.
http://www.townhall.com/columnists/ChuckColson/2006/11/01/is_it_a_sin_not_to_vote
Herman Cain: Armchair Presidents
It?s easy to give someone advice after the fact, and even then, there is no measure that the advice would have been a better decision. The armchair presidents claim to have the winning play for fighting terrorists and preventing future terrorist attacks on American soil.
http://www.townhall.com/columnists/HermanCain/2006/11/01/armchair_presidents
Suzanne Fields: Keeping up with the Joneses
But there's a voting cohort between Generation Xers and boomers that bears watching. They're the not-so-young Generation Jones. If they're not "the lost generation," they're invisible to most of our culture commentators.

Alan Reynolds: Rhetorical overheating
The British government released the "Stern Review" on global warming by Nicholas Stern, a former chief economist for the World Bank.

Ann Coulter: Jihad is fun! Vote Democrat!
(Excellent historical stats on midterm pickups)
John Kerry is the "botched joke" of American politics. For those of you keeping score at home, John Kerry has now called members of the U.S. military (a) stupid, (b) crazy, (c) murderers, (d) rapists, (e) terrorizers of Iraqi women and children. I wonder what he'll call them tomorrow.

Thomas Sowell: Cast of characters: Part II
This year, the Democrats are running as "None of the above" and polls show that they may well win the House of Representatives and perhaps the Senate.

Rejecting mutli-culti barbarism
Female genital mutilation is a life-altering barbaric practice, which has no place in America. Thank goodness a Georgia jury handed down a guilty verdict and a judge imposed a ten year sentence on a father who assaulted his own two year old daughter in the name of Islam. The AP speculates that this may be the first such conviction in the USA.
