John Kerry should not hold any office in this great nation.
I hate the way the dems are not fighting for our freedoms.

We must pray much about this election.

This is a man who has accomplished little of significance in his own life beyond marrying rich (who has never successfully led the push for any significant legislation in Congress, who managed to snatch failure from the jaws of presidential victory). He needs to be put to task for what he really meant: that our military is a bunch of dumb, uneducated losers and slackers instead of the most educated, professional and highly motivated fighting force in the history of the planet Earth.

I know what you mean, but his remarks are not "damaging" they are insightful, a reflection on the true thinking of the Dems. The truth is only damaging to those that it hurts and this revealing of his true nature does not hurt anyone who favors our POV.

In spite of the spin assist he is getting from the MSM, Kerry did not apologize! He said he was sorry if others misunderstood what he said. That is not an apology. He still places the blame on others, he doesn't think he has done anything wrong.

Kerry's "joke" is just the latest reminder.

Like "joking" in 1971 about Genghis Khan???

Blogger N.Z. Bear makes a great point also.
And the source here [Kerrry] matters. If John McCain had made Kerry’s remarks, we’d be astounded, but McCain’s history would argue in his favor and we’d grant him the benefit of the doubt. But Kerry’s history does the opposite: his past exploits and efforts to drag the reputation of American soldiers through the mud are absolutely relevant and mean he doesn’t get to pretend that nobody could ever think he’d say something denigrating about the military. If you’ve never been known to raise your hand in anger towards a woman, you can crack a joke about beating your wife and get away with it (even if you shouldn’t). But if you’ve got a history of beating your wife, you don’t get to make jokes about beating your wife without bringing the full weight of society’s suspicion and opprobrium down on you.

...their efforts to misrepresent what they really believe and what they'd really do if put in power

If you have any doubts about this I refer you to the early days of the Clinton Whitehouse and their treatment (murder) of a band of ragtag religious extremists, minding their own business and exercising their First Amendment rights in Waco Texas - "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."

There is no Constitution for the Vast Right Wing, gun-toting, poor white trash, Conspiracy.

Democrats are the most dangerous enemy of America.

They have the capacity to do the most harm. The Terrorists and evil state leaders do all they can to support the Rat effort.

Even if we believe Kerry's explanation, which I don't, what are we to make of a man who was nearly president, a leading US senator, bitterly calling the President stupid, as if he were a child in a sandbox talking to another child who had taken away his toy?

I am amazed that this man is taken seriously by any one. All can think is that the media don't take him seriously, but promote him anyway for their own cynical reasons, and that his fans in the electorate are clueless and get there political analysis from late night comedians.

JERUSALEM – Everybody has an opinion about next Tuesday's midterm congressional election in the U.S. – including senior terrorist leaders interviewed by WND who say they hope Americans sweep the Democrats into power because of the party's position on withdrawing from Iraq, a move, as they see it, that ensures victory for the worldwide Islamic resistance.

The terrorists told WorldNetDaily an electoral win for the Democrats would prove to them Americans are "tired."

They rejected statements from some prominent Democrats in the U.S. that a withdrawal from Iraq would end the insurgency, explaining an evacuation would prove resistance works and would compel jihadists to continue fighting until America is destroyed.

They said a withdrawal would also embolden their own terror groups to enhance "resistance" against Israel.

"Of course Americans should vote Democrat," Jihad Jaara, a senior member of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terror group and the infamous leader of the 2002 siege of Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity, told WND.
