Columnist Coulter in hot water over voting (CNN smears Ann)

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida (AP) -- Conservative columnist Ann Coulter has refused to cooperate in an investigation into whether she voted in the wrong precinct, so the case will probably be turned over to prosecutors, Palm Beach County's elections chief said Wednesday. Elections Supervisor Arthur Anderson said his office has been looking into the matter for nearly nine months, and he would turn over the case to the state attorney's office by Friday. Coulter's attorney did not immediately return a call Wednesday. Nor did her publicist at her publisher, Crown Publishing. Knowingly voting in the wrong precinct is a felony punishable by up to five years in prison. Anderson's office received a complaint in February that Coulter voted in the wrong precinct during a February 7 Palm Beach town council election. Anderson said a letter was sent to Coulter on March 27 requesting that she clarify her address for the voting records "or face the possibility of her voter registration being rescinded." Three more letters were sent to Coulter and her attorney, but she has yet to respond with the information requested, Anderson said. In July, Anderson said, he received a letter from Coulter's attorney, Marcos Daniel Jimenez D'Clouet. The letter said the attorney would only discuss the matter in person or by telephone because, he complained, Anderson had given details to the media. Anderson said the matter had to be discussed in writing. The right-wing commentator also authored a book that said some September 11 widows were "enjoying their husbands' deaths."

Last month it was " Get Rush Limbaugh"

And now its:

"Get Anne Coulter"

The Demoncraps just can't stand having solid opposition.

Any effective critic of the Demoncrap cause will be investigated, and if the investigation is unfruitful, the Demoncraps will fabricate something, as in Tom DeLay's case.

People generally have no idea just how deleterious a Democrat Presidency and Congress would be at this time. The first phase would be "revenge of the nerds."

And that is the only platform the Dems have.

How did she vote in the wrong precint? Didn't they verify her voter registration at the precint she voted in? If she wasn't on the rolls in that precint she shouldn't have been able to vote.

Sounds like the election officials messed up.

Yes, this is the same place that went after Limbaugh.

Why is it a voter's responsibility to check if they are voting in the proper precinct. God forbid they actually check their own damn rolls, who is illegal or a citizen, you know little things like that.

It's funny. She has no reason to "cooperate", she doesn't have to tell them a thing.

They spent NINE MONTHS, trying to figure out where she lives? Is it really that hard to just go to the address she gave and watch for a while to see if she shows up?

According the the letter they say they sent to Coulter, they were only threatening to revoke her voting registration. Maybe she has "moved" and no longer cares....

Ann should have taken care of this by now. If she had done so, there would be no story to write and no bias to complain about.

If Ann had not voted in the wrong precint than there would be no story. We can't give conservatives a pass just because they are conservatives. If this was Michael Moore would we be so understanding? I think not. Why doesn't she just talk to them and see what happened. As long as she did not vote twice she should be ok. She is causing this to be a bigger story than it needs to be.

Maybe it is time the democrat goon squad in palm beach got a little taste of their own medicine. The federal goverment should start putting some heat on them.

What would be far better would be for Rush and Ann to collaborate on a really rip-roaring satire show about the Palm Beach prosecutor's office

What the hell does that have to do with this article?!

That was the article. The rest was just made up to get you to read that.

That photo of Ann Coulter seems too good to be true.
Is it authentic?
I would love to pass it on as authentic.

67,000 people voted in Florida in 2000 who also voted in PA, NJ or NY. Apparently, those people are not going to be threatened with felony convicting. Apparently their votes were for the correct candidate in Palm Beach County.

In fairness to CNN, which they don't deserve, this is an AP article.

CNN decided to run it on their front page one week before a national election. Where's the story about federal indictments for voter fraud for 4 ACORN election workers in Missouri today? I can't find that story ANYWHERE at CNN.com.

I believe it to be authentic. It was pointed out to me by a buddy who has a "thing" for pretty women who are gun fanciers. Ann is widely known to be a good shot, and there are numerous true photos of her with a variety of firearms.

Unfortunately, I have yet to find an "original" of this, but I have no reason to suspect it is not real. Might write to Ann and see if she will validate it...
