(SAN FRANCISCO) The chairman of the nations largest pro-troop organization, Move America Forward (website: www.MoveAmericaForward.org ) has issued the following statement rejecting the non-apology by Senator John Kerry for his comments belittling the intelligence of U.S. Troops in Iraq.
“Your non-apology is not accepted, Senator Kerry.
John Kerry has done it again! He has sunk to a new low by managing to insult the American people and members of the United States military in his issuance of a non-apology. Rather then apologizing for the hurtful words he used, he instead says he regrets that his words were misinterpreted? [Source: Kerry statement, “I sincerely regret that my words were misinterpreted ” ]
“So apparently it is the fault of the American public, news media and the men and women of the United States Military for not being smart enough to understand what Senator Kerry meant to say?
“The American public understands what he really said. There is no mistaking his contempt for our troops. He has a long history of name-calling, and now he refuses to apologize for his conduct. Instead he says its all our fault.
Shame on you, Senator Kerry.”
"Nothing short of resignation will do."
I would like to see a movement started among ALL veterans.
Any time any veteran is in spitting distance Kerry, they have a moral obligation to spit on the SOB. What's he going to do, sue you?
We'll hound him out of office and America will be a better place, even for most of the Dems.
Thank you! I'm grinning from ear to ear with your post--my son says to tell you he thinks your post is nice. :)
That was my smiley, but he just did this:
:D
Geez, casbah, talk about a Kerry-ism! We demand a non-apology apology for that, or it's 30 minutes in a locked room with the She-hag herself!
Cuter than Coulter - Bout' on par with Ingraham
IMHO
PS- Hope my wife's not reading my posts!

Not bad for a 50-year-old mama, eh?

I am so thankful there are those who are educated enough to break a sentence down.
Thank you Melanie Morgan for stating the true meaning of this worthless pretend apology by Kerry.
Yeah, a great radio personality voice without a typical "radio personality face"
Humm, do I need to issue an apology to radio personalities now? Can I say it was a botched joke?
This latest incident shows he has no freakin' clue as well.

thanks for the ping..
The jokes on him!
It's truly rare today that children of any age actually think through what is happening around them. He will have a head start on his schoolmates, being so clued in to the reality behind the words.
"I offer a complete and utter retraction. The imputation was totally without basis in fact and was in no way fair comment and was motivated purely by malice, and I deeply regret any distress that my comments may have caused you or your family, and I hereby undertake not to repeat any such slander at any time in the future."

LOL!
Dude, time for new glasses. She's hot.
Perhaps we all misinterpreted what he said in his press conference? Personally, I lack the nuance required to understand most of what he says.
