Kerry on Imus

Posted on 11/01/2006 4:27:34 AM PST by wtc911

Kerry spinning like a top on Imus. He says it is Bush who owes America an apology.

Says he's getting off campaign trail to not be a distraction.

Totally re-writing what he said.

Says the WH distorted his words to distract America from the outrage of their failures...

I agree. Regardless of the election, this is the kind of comment that should not be passed over or ignored. The voting public really needs to understand what the two parties stand for, and it has taken us too long for Republicans to speak up to define the issues and our positions better.

It seems Republicans are coming to the battle late. Few elected Republicans understood how intense the hatred towards President Bush and Republicans has been for Democrats, and to ignore that was a mistake.

John Kerry is not the exception, he's typical of the rule. If Democrats don't like being labeled as unpatriotic they need to vote Republican now and take their party back from the far left.

Wonder if some of you smarter than me could dig up some grades for Kerry and Bush and we could get them posted? Would be great!

Let's face it - nothing a dumbocrap says is going to make another dummie say "This is going to make me vote Republican" - NOTHING. Going on imus, lardball, etc - won't make any difference at the polls - conservatives don't watch those shows.

It's the conservatives who need to keep this alive & show it over & over on shows & places where conservatives will hear it. This is what will make a difference at the polls. A demonrat could go on national TV and say they will be appointing Kim Jong Il as Secretary of State & the dummies would still vote for them.

I don't know what next week will look like but I am really praying that America shows the media just how disconnected they are.

I saw Deirdre Imus on the Russert show with her husband a couple of years ago. What a stick in the mud. Zero personality. I was starting to wonder if she had some sort of mental deficiency.

That was posted here yesterday in one of the threads. Not sure what the scoring system was based on but Bush got a 77 and Kerry got a 76.

I do believe that Kerry and other leading dems (especially HRC) do hate the military. I'm in the camp that believes that Kerry volunteered strictly to collect the coins figuring that they'd come in handy in the political arena.

He might not hate the individual troops but he doesn't respect them either.

Casey has now asked Kerry NOT to be there.

That's not good enough, and Santorum needs to pound Casey mercilessly for it.

Anything less than an immediate (which is no longer possible) repudiation of Kerry's gross insult can be taken as a tacit admission on Casey's part that he shares Kerry's views.

By merely disinviting Kerry, Casey is saying he just doesn't want those noxious and elitist views and attitudes publicized.

It's been a while since I've heard Imus. My take on it was that she was the conservative? I guess things change when you live in Manhattan and run with certain crowds.

Do you really think that Kerry hates the military?

He clearly has deep and pathological disdain for the institutions of the military. I don't think he 'hates' the individual servicemembers, per se, but he clearly thinks them as vastly inferior.

You see that mindset with certain types of officers; they see enlisted men as little more than semi-literate thugs, and view other officers as tools to either dominate or suck up to.

Being a lifelong Massachusetts resident

Just curious on something; do you know if Romney orders flags at half-mast if a soldier from MA is killed in Iraq or if Kerry has attended any military funerals?

Why would Lurch, whose grades were not as good as GWB's at Yale, try to make a 'joke' equating Bush with being uneducated and stupid.

Because it fits in with the continuing media story line. It has worked up to this point. Gore=Smart, Kerry=Smart, Bush=Dumb.

Wow, what blame shifting. Like the playground bully who finally gets caught.

Says he's getting off campaign trail to not be a distraction.

Too little, too late.
