Kerry on Imus
Posted on 11/01/2006 4:27:34 AM PST by wtc911
Kerry spinning like a top on Imus. He says it is Bush who owes America an apology.
Says he's getting off campaign trail to not be a distraction.
Totally re-writing what he said.
Says the WH distorted his words to distract America from the outrage of their failures...

"Fred Grandy??? As in Gopher from Love Boat?"
One and the same. He has a very popular morning show along with co-host Andy Parks and it is called the Andy and Grandy Show. Grandy is a natural for radio and very funny, as well as very bright.

KEEP TALKING KERRY...NOW YOUR INSULTING THE INTELLEGENCE OF AMERICA. WE HEARD WHAT YOU SAID. THIS IS ANOTHER "MEANING OF IS, IS," MOMENT.
THE CONTEXT OF YOUR SPEECH DOES NOT MATCH INSERTING "WE WONT HAVE TO FIGHT IN IRAQ" NICE TRY.

I saw some "Democratic Strategist" on TV the other night, announce that everytime the Kerry sound bite is played, the Dems should counter with Kerry's ridiculous "I will apologize to now one" excuse. Talk about playing into the trap...
You know, if I was at a dinner party, and said something like - "I will pass on the cream spinach, I don't want to be like my fat wife" - regardless of whether or not it was a botched joke, I had better be contrite and sincere pretty damn quick to the wife.
With one stupid utterance Kerry has managed to make Kerry the topic of the last week of the campaign. Someone has got to be mad. The orchestrated corruption/perversion/Iraq campaign that started with Foley has been running for a month now.
Kerry has dropped a bomb and it went off in his and the Dem's face. The longer someone with power does not tell him to shut up, the worse it will be for this cycle. This story only does damage. It demoralizes the Dem base (what an idiot), and engages the other on a hot button issue.
Of course, since he is still making a fool of himself on Imus today, it means it is already too late. The next story will be about others shunning Kerry, and now you see a less unified party, in disarray as it spins itself out of control.
I predict a really stupid apology by Friday.

I just have to wonder if we are being fed bogus polls. These guys who should be barely suppressing their joy are coming unhinged with rage.(Kerry and Rangel) Curious.

Good morning, Morgan.
I loved that the president rolled up his sleeves and showed some righteous anger. He doesn't get angry often, but when he does, watch out.

Said he's 'going to Washington to fight this'.
If Kerry can even find Washington, he's never there....

"When I was in DC as a Congressional Intern, there circulated a story that another intern was fired because he insulted Grandy. Apparently, Grandy was standing next to the buttons on the elevator, and the intern got on and said, "Lido Deck, please..."No offense but I spent some time in the DC area in the past few years and have listened to Fred Grandy on his show. Fred Grandy has a good sense of humor and tends to use a lot of self-deprecating humor. I just can't imagine Fred getting uptight about a good joke like that.

Tony Snow pointed out to a caller that not only did President Bush and Kerry both went to Yale for undergraduate studies, but the President Bush also has a degree from the Harvard Business school. He said whenever there is a meeting in the White House, the President is the smartest man in the room. I just wish tony could have been the press sec from day one.
A caller pointed out that W was qualified to fly a 600mph Jet.

pmsnbc is running a report "Bush Risks Rallying Dems" and I had to laugh. The old media is doing all they can to intimidate but the Republicans will not be intimidated.
kerry, as bugs bunny would say, is a maroon. I hope kerry does rally the Demonrats. America and Americans love our Military Heroes. The only people kerry is going to rally is those who hate America and hate our military. So go to it 'old media' you have so little time left to expose yourselves for the rabid mad dogs you are. Get busy like your hero (kerry) and be a rabid mad dog just as kerry is, and then you too can be known as a maroon.

If he does it will be one of those; "I'm sorry that my words were misunderstood" exercises.

Imus to f'ing earlier,
"you are not going to Tenn are you,you are not going to campaign for Ford are you, please don't I'm begging you"
It was so funny I couldn't believe it and of course kerry said he was not going to Tenn. It was a near Bevis and Butthead moment.

Can I ask this of Freepers? Do you really think that Kerry hates the military? The individual Soldier, Sailor, Airman, Marine?
I don't. I've been in the military for over 25 years. I just think he is a fool. Fools say foolish things.
I do think that he believes he is superior...to everybody. That attitude certainly isn't helping him here.
