In effect, "Don't go to college, and your stupid."

It might even leave you confused about about the difference between "your" and "you're."

Sorry...that one GLARED, though...

Gretchen also just stated on air that Kerry was in the military and Bush wasn't, then went on to tell the number of degreed military, etc. I thought reservists were considered in the military.

Wonder if Kerry is sooo far out of touch he thinks that only college can save you from the draft?

Or are the dems planning on introducting a bill to re-instate the draft?

Well, Kerry has always undermined our military and our country. He's just running true to form with his comments. It's just too bad that there are some twisted individuals out there that will defend and excuse him, no matter what, just as they did with Clinton. And magically, I'm not seeing a thing on Kerry today on MSNBC, after yesterday's poll showing that 59% interpreted his comments correctly as being inappropriate:

Were Sen. John Kerry's remarks linking education to the war in Iraq appropriate? * 284640 responses

Yes; the military has long been a step up for those with less education. 18%

No; the comments implied that service members are not intelligent. 59%

They were misinterpreted or taken out of context. 23%

I guess the DNC got the word out to all the Mainstream Media outlets to not report another word on the issue. And even so, the poll wording wasn't exactly critical of Kerry. Not surprising.

Democrats have had over 5 years to make contributions to how we could win the war on terror but all they have done is create rights for terrorists!Democrats do not support America nor does anyone who votes for democrats.

Kerry's not the only DemoRAT that thinks ill of the fine men and women of our Military. Harold Ford, JR thinks they are OIL COPS! BTW his only support for energy is ethenol..his enviro votes tend toward the green agenda.

Project Vote Smart

2001 Representative Ford supported the interests of the American Coalition for Ethanol 100 percent in 2001.

Funny how some of the more lackluster college students act like they're queen of the may when some of the more outstanding students like Bush (and maybe KAC? and a number of my college profs back before the PC sickness took over) think there's room for everybody in the world....and don't look down on people because of their training.

And most definitely don't look down on the people who insure we remain free!

I think the problem (actually one of a myriad) with Kerry is that when he joined the military it was not out of a sense of patriotism or duty. It was solely with the intention of parlaying his service into a future political career. He wanted to be able to wear his service as a banner and play up his "veteran" status. Because of that, he has never really seen himself as having been a part of the military. It never soaked into who he is as a person.

I believe that all along he has looked with disdain at the military (even while he was enlisted). What happens then, is that he forgets sometimes that he is supposed to be a concerned vet and he lets his true disdain and contempt slip out. When that happens he has to remind himself to put on his veteran persona and go on the offensive, acting indignant.

What he doesn't understand is that only those idiots who have imbibed of the liberal cool-aid will fall for it. The rest of us see it for what it is.

Kerry has been making disparaging remarks about our military for years now. He hates the military and he hates our Country. This is no surprise to those who follow politics closely. But the shocker is that he would voice this a week before the election, educating the entire electorate as well as everyone else on the planet.

Kerry has cancelled his scheduled appearances for today.

[Rumor: Kerry is to undergo emergency surgery --- to have his foot removed from his mouth.]

I agree completely.

What he meant to say was, "If you don't study, and don't marry multimillionaries, then you go to Iraq".

It is the gift that keeps on giving. The Dems are scared to death. The ship has a giant hole in it and it is about to sink.

The Dems need to continue to dig their heels in and not apologize and this story will last for 6 more days. It is fun to see these guys self destruct.

And if you do accept Kerry's version of the "joke" that would imply that if you don't study hard, you will be President.

That makes no sense.
