Kerry's Comments worse than you think
fox news ^ | 10-31-06 | fox news

Not only was Kerry's comments an insult to our military and their families, it was also a huge dig (unreported) at anyone who decides to forego college and enter the workplace out of high school. In effect, "Don't go to college, and your stupid." Doesn't look like the Democrat 2004 standard-bearer is working hard for the "working man," does it?

Sounds a bit elitist, doesn't it? Every Dem candidate should be asked to tell Kerry to apologize not only to soldiers, but to every blue-collor worker in America

I recall in 2004 we were admonished to appreciate and value Kerry's capacity for intelligent, nuanced speech

That's what I've been saying. Kerry is supposed to be a supreme orator, on par with Slick Willie himself! And has anyone else besides me checked out the people behind the Flip Flopper when he said that? There was one girl who was sort of grinning and looking around like she was thinking "did he just say what I think he said?"

He made no humorous facial expressions and had he actually made a mistake, he would have apologized instead of pulling a 'toon attack!

APOLOGIZE??? He will apologize to 'no one'!!!! It would be beneath him to do that? Remember, this is King John we are talking about here.....

BTW, where are all of the democrats thoughts on JF'nK's remark? Obviously they all agree with him?????

"Wonder if Kerry is sooo far out of touch he thinks that only college can save you from the draft?"

He tried that stunt before. Didn't work for him. So, Kerry came up with another plan after scheming with Uncle Teddy one night...

.... And that's how he became a senator.

Love your new tagline!!!! I can see photos of troops with huge banners of "Stuck in Iraq" circulating the globe as fast as they can get made. Kerry revealed what the libs think about all of your missions in Iraq.

And I would be wealthy too if I had a nickel for the misplaced apostrophes and misused "loose" and "lose" that I refrain from "correcting".

Stay safe and keep posting on FR.

I wish he would continue to flap his jaws as well, but he is in his usual CUT AND RUN mode now. I guess he couldn't stand the heat in the kitchen and decided to leave.

I didn't realize it, but there is a thread running on this issue. Just in case you hadn't seen it, here is the link. Also, our Senator ripped him as well, in the lower thread.

Heads Up! All Scheduled Kerry Functions for 11/1/06 canceled

Cornyn on Kerry

it's like hypo-Aspberger's Syndrome

@@@@@

I agree with you. As an amateur of neuropathology study, I think that is the best explanation of Kerry's inablilty to comprehend how he comes across to people.

Harold Ford Jr. was just on the radio praising J. Kerry.

This fool is all over the place.

I agree completely.

What he meant to say was, "If you don't study, and don't marry multimillionaries, then you go to Iraq".

Kerry thinks his way of thinking is the right way and the rest of us are idiots.

We're just too stupid to get it!

And he's right, I just don't get windsurfing in flowered spandex. Call me a dumb peasant.

The assertion he was referring to Bush makes no sense.
Bush did go to college - where he earned higher marks than Kerry did. Bush went beyond that and earned a Master's degree - both degrees from Ivy League schools.

No....Kerry was referring to the kids he was speaking to.
He was telling them if they didn't do their work and go to college, they would get stuck in Iraq like the poor dumb suckers who over there now.

It is the gift that keeps on giving. The Dems are scared to death. The ship has a giant hole in it and it is about to sink.

The Dems need to continue to dig their heels in and not apologize and this story will last for 6 more days. It is fun to see these guys self destruct.

No way that was a jab at the President.

Especially given the fact that Kerry's grades were NOT ANY BETTER than Bush's--and actually worse in most cases!

Given that FACT--his lame and pathetic attempt to lie his way out of this one is even MORE patronizing and MORE insulting.

[I really do think he was taking a jab at the POTUS and not the troops.]

How in the world do you construe Kerry's comment into a criticism of President Bush??

He was speaking to mostly students at a rally about education.

In essence, he was repeating the cliche that, 'stay in school Johnny and Suzie, or else you could end up sweeping floors.'

It is a point many Democratic leaders have made over the years, and it STILL surfaces from time to time, especially from the mouths of so-called minority Dem-libs who just love to claim that "under Republican leadership", people today have no other choice economically but to join the military.

I wonder how the "intelligentsia" will explain next week's election results when Republicans retain control of both houses of Congress. They will probably say that we were too "stupid" to vote "correctly"!

Didn't Peter Jennings call the Republican takeover of congress........a temper tantrum?

The MSM all thinks exactly like Kerry or they wouldn't be carrying his lie for him.
