My favorite part:
"Pained Democrats didn't rush to Kerry's defense. In Iowa, Democratic congressional candidate Bruce Braley canceled an event with Kerry scheduled for .tomorrow. A Minnesota congressional candidate, Tim Walz, said Kerry pulled out of an event with him today"

It doesn't matter how the DIMS try to spin this, insulting our military or using them as a joke does not go over well with true AMERICANS.

It wasn't a botched joke. Mr. Kerry can backtrack all he wants. We heard what he said and know his meaning. It isn't the 1st time Kerry has deplorably maligned our troops. He is a major spokesperson for the dems and how they view our military.
For shame.

a botched joke This is a weak try at spin, and this reporter swallowed it. Kerry's comment about "right wing nut jobs" angers me even more than the comment about the military.

As a proud assorted right-wing nut, I am happy to do all I can to help Kerry implode the Democrat party.
That is to say, I'll simply stay out of the way.
Not to put too fine a point on it.

The pattern for John F. Kerry (who served in Vietnam) seems to be:
1. Open mouth.
2. Insert foot.
3. Repeat.
After this exercise, he then does "the Clinton":
Admit nothing....
Deny everything....
Make counter accusations....

Republicans pounced on John Kerry for a botched joke That is an absoulte lie and spin, and the MSM knows it.
The media wonders why its ratings for the network news have fallen 60% in 15 years, and why newspapers are dying?

Unbiased reporting?
How can it POSSIBLY be that Kerry botched a joke because he did not use ENOUGH WORDS?

It's all a brilliant plan by Kerry. If The Democrats don't pick up any new seats in Congress and actually lose some in the Senate and the House, he expects that in 2008 he will ride a wave of liberal discontent into the White House.
God only knows where he got this from.

Republicans pounced on John Kerry for a botched jokeIt wasn't a 'botched' joke! It was an insensitive and un-funny joke! It was a joke that was designed to put Kerry's current audience in the same camp that he is in at the expense of our soldiers in Iraq. Only problem, is the rest of the world was also listening.......
To: YaYa123
It seems that the Democrats have stuff ol' John Forbes into a closet to keep him away from a microphone. My guess is that he doesn't surface again until late next week.
To: YaYa123
I've noticed most of the articles from the MSM use Kerry's word 'botched'.
Coincidence?
I think NOT!

Dems shouldn't be surprised that Kerry is doing to them what he has always done to our armed forces.
