Doctor Raoul asked me to post this. Please join him this Wednesday, November 1 from 4 p.m. until in to the evening outside the Public House at 1801 Arch St. in downtown Philadelphia for a freep of John Kerry. If we have to explain why, you haven't been paying attention today :-)
Kerry will be doing a 'Happy Hour' fundraiser for Bob Casey.
Thanks to hoosiermama for the tip.
As always, all participants are expected to abide by some simples rules: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.
Ping-a-ling!
YAY!! DC Chapter ROCKS! PA FReepers ... Yoo Hoo ! This will be awesome.

It's only funny until someone goes home crying.

Kerry Track Sector PING!!!
I have an appointment tomorrow .. but I'll see what I can pull off
This is what John Kerry thinks of our troops in Iraq. Taking in consideration the things he said about soldiers in Vietnam thirty-five years ago, many of us have long suspected this was the way he really feels about those who volunteer to serve this nation. It's ironic that this scurrilous insult to the intelligence of our men and women fighting terrorism in Iraq should come to light on Halloween, because this is the day when people disguise themselves and put on a mask. Last night, the opposite happened -- John Kerry removed his mask, and revealed who he really is.John Kerry will try to spin this into something it's not. This statement is UNSPINNABLE. It's not an political attack on the President or the Secretary of Defense or the Secretary of State or the Republicans in Congress. There is only one group of people he's referring to -- our men and women serving this country. He's saying by inference that if you don't study hard and do your homework and don't make an effort to be smart,, you might be forced into volunteering for the military! Does THAT sound like someone who, quote unquote, "supports the troops?" It sounds to me like someone who INSULTS the troops!
And to think this man wants to be Commander-in-Chief! He has said many unkind things about our President's service, and about the deferments of the Vice President (who is a former Secretary of Defense). But we have free speech in America. Sen. Kerry is entitled, if he thinks it's politically expedient, to make remarks that denigrate the service of those who served in the National Guard during the Vietnam war, although, strangely enough, the
40th42nd President -- a Democrat like Kerry -- didn't serve in the military in any capacity during the Vietnam war. I don't EVER remember that President being slammed by John Kerry. But George W. Bush has NEVER said ANYTHING that minimizes the service of veterans or suggests that he believes people risking their lives to defend this nation aren't, to use Sen. Kerry's word, "smart."To all Democratic candidates running for office across our country, especially those that are veterans: I invite YOU to voice YOUR opinion about what the man YOU nominated in 2004 to be your Commander-in-Chief said yesterday. But if you wish to suggest what Sen. Kerry said wasn't what he meant, I will direct you to exactly what it is that he said in context. Once again: "You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq." Try to spin that into something that is NOT disparaging of our brave men and women living, fighting, injured, and dying in Iraq -- I invite to you to make a vain attempt. In Mr. Kerry's own words, "BRING...IT...ON!"
BUMP
Try reminding "JFK" who he is married to.

BTTT
Over here!
Well stated!
Just the image of your proposal for Tony Snow warms the heart of an old vet who served with pride. Thank You.
Bump. Philadelphia Eagles UP!
Ed Muskie cried in New Hampshire when his wife was dissed. But, I knew Ed Muskie. And John Kerry is no Ed Muskie.
Teresa does it when she withholds his allowance.
