Bush to respond to Kerry @5PM EST.
(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
This totally puts the kiss of death on any chance I had of getting ANY work done today.
I might as well go ahead and get out the wine. And the Halloween candy, too.
LOL. I love the 'net...
I just hope he doesn't use the words "crystal clear". LOL.
That's be sweet. I'll be interested to see what the new DNC talking points will be tonight.
Exactly. President Bush needs to firmly shove Kerry's crap right back down his throat. Normally I would rather see any President remain "above the fray" in some of the personal back-and-forth, but this is about defending the honor and outstanding performance of all of our soldiers, Marines, sailors, and airmen against the snide sneering aspersions of the great "Secret Cambodia Mission" clown prince of the Demagogic Party.
STRATEGERY!!!
I hope President Bush calls for Kerry to resign, and he should call for Harry Reid to resign too. After all, Reid is minority leader, and he should be responsible for things other Democrat Senators say and do.
Watch the MSM work overtime to help pull Kerry's fat from the fire.
Here's the MSM's playbook: "Kerry made a slip of the tongue, and the desperate Bush along with the rest of the evil Republicans are simply now acting in a nasty partisan manner (politics of personal destruction type!!) and are trying to influence the elections, which by the way, our own (DNC - wink, wink) polls show that the Democrats will take over the entire planet!
Yes! It's Bush's JOB as Commander-in-Chief to respond!
And God bless your son, daughter-in-law and future son-in-law as they walk tall in those combat boots.
As Commander in Chief, Bush should respond to the insult on our troops. He should also call for Kerry's resignation.
Let me cross my fingers and say a prayer here. Because right before this thread popped up I saw the announcement on the Bush statement in response to John Kerry come across the TV monitor.
I had been thinking, and I'm not making this up, that what JFK said is WORTH a response from no less than the President of the United States.
A U.S. Senator should not have said what Kerry said and I'll tell you what folks. I don't think it's out of bounds to demand that this man resign from the congress of the United States.
Damn right the pubbies should be all over this. Kerry said it, he's made lame and ineffective attempts to deny it. If the Dems think their party can withstand the heat from this in honor of the rabid left, they just better think again.
There's children of Dem parents that are soldiers, there's children of Independent parents that are soldiers, there's children of illegal alien parents that are soldiers for God's sake! This just ain't gonna fly.
Bush has an obligation to apologize to our military for the statements of a U.S. Senator who publicly mocked and humiliated them. Them PLUS their parents who worry every day for their military children for fear they will return home in a coffin.
I will never get over this. And I truly believe this is a drop dead killer for the Dem party.
Let the pubbies come out hollering. Soon enough the Dems will HAVE to follow. There's nothing right about what Kerry said, nothing at all.
If we pull this out to the point of gaining seats, 2006 will be a political novel.
[Which, of course, we're going to do]
Calling Dr. Rove, Calling Dr. Rove.... EMERGENCY!
What if this isn't about Kerry?
What if we caught a big Al Queda Fish, that would sweet.....
Simply and Beautifully said.
Oh man, this is just TOO rich.
