President Bush re: Kerry [Kathryn Jean Lopez]
In Georgia today:
....I cannot tell you how proud I am to be the Commander-in-Chief of such incredibly brave men and women who have volunteered to wear the uniform of the United States. And even in the midst of a heated campaign season, there are still some things we should all be able to agree on and one of the most important is that every one of our troops deserves our gratitude and respect. Yesterday Democrat Senator John Kerry was speaking to a group of young people in California, and gave them this advice, quote: You know education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you dont you get stuck in Iraq.
The Senators suggestion that the men and women of our military are somehow uneducated is insulting and shameful. Our troops did not enlist because they did not study hard in school or do their homework. The men and women who serve in our all-volunteer Armed Forces are plenty smart and are serving because they are patriots and Senator Kerry owes them an apology.
Whatever party you belong to, whatever you think about the war in Iraq, we should all agree that our troops deserve our unwavering support. And when it comes to supporting our men and women in uniform, I dont have any doubt where Mac Collins is going to land. He is a strong supporter of the military. And he knows what I know: Any time you have American troops in harms way, they have the right to expect the full support of the American government.

Life is good.
If they fall short he'll be more despised than Liebermann by the moonbats.
Well, let's see what the President is going to say first.
October is Smack Down Month.
First Lynn Cheney on CNN and Wolfie, and now this. I need to go to the store and get more popcorn.
Well they aren't going to get one, we all know that. Bush shouldn't address Kerry directly, the Dems will jump on it and try and make it look like Bush is making a political issue over it. Let Kerry try and explain it away on his own, don't give him an out.
All right White House! Way to keep the story bubbling along.
Thank you John Kerry for undoing, 1 week before the elections, a 2 year multi million dollar Democrat Party Campaign strategy designed around suppressing the Conservative turn out.
Your reply has me LOL
Not say anything! Cmon! Pres. Bush would NEVER allow our troops to be denigrated like that. No Way! Kerry is a fricken Nancy boy and should learn to keep his ignorant mouth shut! Viva La Bush!
Bush never smacks anybody down when we want him to. That's probably a good thing.
Put the libs on their heals going into election day.
Buzzkill

Thats the scariest thing I've sen this Halloween yet.
I predict the President will come out with "that look" on his face (the one with the squinty eyes) and make a brief statement which will knock our socks off and then leave the podium without questions. I love it when he does that.
"Oh McKerry, you've done it again."
Once Kerry came out and said the Republicans won't debate real men like himself, rot roh.
