No doubt. Their best strategy is to just hope this story dies down as quickly as possible.

"When you quit being babygene and learn to be adultgene"
BTW, "Babygene" is a holdover from the last century when I was heavily involved in the pro-life movement. Ran a website, "Imababy.com", and we were involved at that time in a lobbying effort in D.C. against partial birth abortion.

Yup. This is no time for Martyball.

I have been listening to a local GA radio talk show, Kim Peterson. Of course the topic is Kerry and his remarks about the intelligence of the military. Kim Peterson is a former marine and is tearing Kerry to shreds. Every one of his callers is blasting Kerry. Some say they are democrats and are embarrassed by the Senator from MA. Could be seminar callers but who knows.
Here in GA at least, Kerry is not playing well at all.

Team Kerry vs. Team Bush
To: A Citizen Reporter
The heck it won't. Kerry only needs a little nudge and he explodes in anger. All Tony Snow said this morning was that Kerry should apologize to the troops and their families, and that elicited a nuclear explosive response, and Kerry calling him a "stuffed suit". [I'm not sure what a stuffed suit is, but I think he mean't an empty suit or a stuffed shirt.] Exactly. Kerry is his own worst enemy. Left to his own devices he'll make the situation worse on his own.

I'm sure she's huddling with her team and Dim strategists trying to get just the right nuance on the spin.

If he kicks that bastard's ass, I'll have a cig, too, and I don't even smoke! Scotch will take care of the rest.

Get off their asses and point out, rather simply, that the Senator had the opportunity on 2 occasions already to mention the "missing two words" and declined to do so.
I want commercials tying these remarks to the RAT opposition to the Patriot Act, wiretapping of terrorist calls etc.
This could seal Webb's fate alone.

I hope after today that nobody complains about your two Senators in Maine. No, they aren't Conservative, but compared to the two disgraces in Massachusetts they aren't bad at all.

Even Marty does not play Martyball anymore --- he has Phillip Rivers!

They MUST slam Kerry in some way. If they don't they'll blow it.
To: bnelson44
They better if they are smart....this could be Democratic speaking points if the truth be known..
To: penelopesire
So call your Senators -- of both parties. Let them feel the heat.

Baloney. You run for the TD with an intercepted pass like this. And when your opposing running back has fumbled the ball, then scoops it up and goes tearing for his own goal line do you tackle him? Or do you let him run?
To: Republican Red
Thanks for this good news. I am feeling much like I did pre-election in '04 and it feels great!
