Bush to respond to Kerry @5PM EST.
(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
The mind boggles just to what lengths the DBM would go to GET AN APOLOGY, were the POTUS a Democrat and the [foot in mouth] Senator a Republican.
It would define every news conference and every waking moment. Simply put unless or until the Republican gave some sort of an apology it would not STOP!!
....I cannot tell you how proud I am to be the Commander-in-Chief of such incredibly brave men and women who have volunteered to wear the uniform of the United States. And even in the midst of a heated campaign season, there are still some things we should all be able to agree on and one of the most important is that every one of our troops deserves our gratitude and respect. Yesterday Democrat Senator John Kerry was speaking to a group of young people in California, and gave them this advice, quote: You know education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you dont you get stuck in Iraq.
The Senators suggestion that the men and women of our military are somehow uneducated is insulting and shameful. Our troops did not enlist because they did not study hard in school or do their homework. The men and women who serve in our all-volunteer Armed Forces are plenty smart and are serving because they are patriots and Senator Kerry owes them an apology.
Whatever party you belong to, whatever you think about the war in Iraq, we should all agree that our troops deserve our unwavering support. And when it comes to supporting our men and women in uniform, I dont have any doubt where Mac Collins is going to land. He is a strong supporter of the military. And he knows what I know: Any time you have American troops in harms way, they have the right to expect the full support of the American government.
:( --- on to madness for me too --- I'll keep the TV volume LOUD.
Kerry: "I refused to apologize before I apologized"
"There was a First Amendment this morning when I woke up. I don't know how it evaporated with the dawn,"
Bears repeating, he won't have to "build a legacy" after leaving office, no fake "habitat for humanity" construction sites, no well what ever it is that clintoon will try to
cover his slimey tracks.
Ann is a true conservative warrior! :)
I think the DUmocrats just got a sack of ROCKS instead of candy!
You're right. No matter how you take the comment, or defend it or revile it, Kerry just put the Dems in a no-win situation. He screwed them, big time.
I am sure a lot of people are telling him to keep his pie hole shut. Lucky for us, he'll probably keep talking.
Cafferty is one of Wolf B's wingmen. A real bitter old man.
The Swift Goat strikes again!
How exciting for you! I'm so happy you were able to see him in person.
He was on fire today!
And...hell, yeah, Harry Reid and Nancy Peloski owe them their resignations because they let that idiot out to run his mouth!
Oh please. Bush picked up a Kerry fumble and scored with it. Smart politics are a winner every time, and the President struck exactly the right note and forced the nets to cover his speech.
Oops sorry had the wrong stuff on the clipboard.
I think Mr. Kerry might just get a vist from the ghost of Rep Davenport soon.
Dick Armey jumped the shark a LONG time ago...I haven't seen him on TV in the last few years where he has been supportive of Bush or the Reps.
I love the few democrat posers around here.
Here is a hint fella's... at least change a word or two about sKerry's 3rd excuse.. its too obvious /rolleyes
Hadn't seen Chrissy in a while but it is so painfully obvious this guy is spinning for Kerry it is almost funny.
I've seen the Kerry comment several times, but apparently Chrissy feels I am too stupid to understand it myself, therefore he must explain "what he really meant".
And they wonder why we don't believe their crap anymore...
Thank God for the Net and alternative media!
"What explanation are they giving?"
That the contract with Fox expires tonight and FNC wanted $1.00 per subscriber up from 25 cents.
I wrote to them not only what you mentioned, but also that they have hundreds of channels of nothing to see and they could have dumped a number of them to be able to afford FNC.
To add insult to injury the substitute will be BBC World!
