O...M...G... The Dems are really soiling their armor now.........
Why? I thought the President was an unpopular embarrassment who is failing in Iraq because he didn't study hard enough. The Dems should be excited that such a pathetic excuse for a human being is going to make a fool of himself right before a major election.
If Kerry's joke had any truth to it, the President's address would net the Democrats 30 more House seats.

Somewhere in the Whitehouse basement, Rove takes the pin out of the Kerry Voodoo Doll's mouth. And smiles..

"The president ought to leave this one alone, and allow Mr. Kerry to swing slowly in the breeze."
Bush could take the high ground; not waste time. He has a country and a war to run.
His subordinates could then go even further, be tougher with what they say about Kerry and his type (dem candidates).
To: bnelson44
Excellent. This is what we need from the White House. Make sure that the drive-by media hears about Kerry and why they shouldn't vote for his party.
I have thought that the decision to hire Tony Snow was beautifully inspired. We are truly blessed to have him and Karl Rove advising our President.

Responding keeps the story alive so MORE people hear it. Not to mention sauce for the goose -- haven't the Dems started "responses" to any speech by President Bush, not just the SOU and weekly radio address?

On CNN, one of Kerry's acolytes is trying to spin this one away by saying Kerry mangled his words.
LIAR!
Anyone can see for themselves that Kerry did not come up with that line on the spot. It was a planned comment. It was the second sentence; it was a part of his speech.

I wonder how old Nancy Pelosi is feeling right about now?
To: Non-Sequitur
He will not address Kerry directly.
He will simply come out and say just how amazing our troops are, how proud of them he is, and just what an asset they are to our country.
And Kerry will look even more like an idiot.

I think Bush is going to say something along the lines of Kerry & Co. have run me down for years, but I'm not going to sit here and have them slander my troops.
Actually there are so many ways Bush could clobber Kerry with this, he could say a lot of things. Kudos Mr. President for sticking it to that cowardly pos John Kerry!

Kerry has singlehandedly put the election back on track for the Republicans.

Bush has an obligation to apologize to our military for the statements of a U.S. Senator who publicly mocked and humiliated them. Them PLUS their parents who worry every day for their military children for fear they will return home in a coffin. I suspect that will be the gist of his statement. That while Kerry won't apologize to the troops, Bush will do so on behalf of every American who supports them and honors their patriotism. Sadly they defend even those who would demean their intelligence in search of a cheap political score.
