The Corner is reporting that John Kerry will hold a news conference at 2PM to discuss his recent comment.
If it was a "joke" about Bush, he served after he got his degree from Yale!! So it had to be about the Troops in Iraq.
Pray for W and Our Election
Chris Matthews opens by saying "republicans are jumping on a sentence Kerry made yesterday in California" .
I can't wait to see if Matthews will have on a republican . oh lord, his first guest is Teddy Kennedy!! the big guns are out defending Kerry....they smell blue blood in the water!
I did think he might try and blame it on a staffer but thought that it wouldn't fly. I can see that he didn't even come close to apologizing or blaming it on anyone but the president. LOL
That and, well, being on time is for the "little people".
I knew I had heard an elitist use the same phrase in a movie:
"I simply won't stand for that kind of talk".

Maybe it's time to break out the Wafflehead again.

White House needs to come out and show kerry that the adults are in charge. They need to stand up for theirselves.
Kerry calls names, and he needs to be called out on it. He is harming our troops much less our country. kerry sounded just like Natalie Maines. They are the face of the demo party.
ABC News said his opponents were "claiming" he attacked the troops.
On the other hand, they did play McCain's quotes.
They better be, or they are even more stupid than their "Stupid Party" moniker...rightly given or not.
By the way, ken5050, I am leaving for India tomorrow, and will not be in country for the election. I'm sure I will hear about it, though, and will have the opportunity to monitor what's going on via the internet. Eight PM over here (in Los Angeles) is 9:30am the next day there.
So if you could PING me on some of the hot threads (not that I'd have too much trouble finding them myself as a three year FReeper), I'd greatly appreciate it. It's a good thing I wasn't a FReeper the last time I went...I'd have spent all my email time here!
Apparently we can. I was in the car when his presser came on and started laughing so hard at his tone I nearly had to pull over. That was absolutely hilarious.
Can we all email Bob Caseys campaign & tell them we're Dems & won't vote for him now? LOL
John Boehner also issued a statement demanding an apology.
Or someone like my roommate ih high school (military school) who graduated HS magna cum laude, and did the same in college then had a career in the Marines (and retired 2 years ago).
Our freshman year we were plebes and this kid threatened to break an officer's record player (and head) for playing anti-war (this was 1971) music!
I hope he does. It's best to leave Kerry in his own words.
ROTFLMAO!! That is great!!
It's true, and frankly I have MORE contempt for conservatives who would knowingly let the type of treasonous yo-yo's that Kerry typifies, in order to make some sort of ridiculous point.
Not only his previous statements, but the fact that he followed the statement with his press release attacking republicans for attacking him. Arrogance. amazing.
That is a KEEPER of the First Degree. Thanks!
When I was a kid, my parents always told me if that I studied hard, I could one day be President. Now basically, according to Kerry's explanation, he said study hard, or else you will end up being President.
