Gay sex forces closure of store toilets
Sydney Morning Herald ^ | 10/30/06 | Jamie Pandaram

The closure of customer toilets in a Myer store due to rampant homosexual activity has exposed a massive list of venues being used by members of a gay website as hook-up points.

Among the places listed as meeting spots for men "cruising for sex", on squirt.org, is the Royal Australian Air Force's Richmond base and Sydney Opera House's toilets.

Management at Myer's Sydney city store in Pitt Street were forced to close its level one toilet to the public because homosexuals were using the facility as a meeting point, often having sex in full view of other horrified users.

A few of the gay community have been hauled off but it seems to be only a temporary deterrent.

Yeah I've been thinking about this for when we have children in the future. How old do you think is "too old" to keep dragging them into the ladies room with you? I just could never forgive myself if something happened to one of our kids (that we don't have yet, but will someday) that I could've prevented.

The gay political pressure groups have won the extinction of the old vice squads that would have cracked down on this kind of stuff. And, despite no longer needing to meet furtively in public toilets because their activity is no longer illegal, the Love that Dares Not Speak its Name still does it because it gets a charge out of publicly exposing itself - it is the apogee of narcissism.

You could have really, really ugly kids...that might help.

Um, yeah. I don't think it would stop these pervs. Then again, getting the kids in good physical shape (lots of muscles) probably would help...

Several decades ago, my first grade class took a field trip to the Pittsburgh Zoo. It was a beautiful spring day, I still remember clearly, and in the eyes of a six year old, seeing the various animals from around the world up close was nothing short of fascinating.

I also recall my mom sending me off on that field trip with my lunch box packed with two pieces of fried chicken, a powdered sugar donut and two sticks of licorice. I recall my lunch from that day so vividly, because it just so happened to float on top of everything else I hurled while reading this article.

The other reason is that just being caught in the wrong restroom is against the law. Two men or two women can meet in a restroom without any legal consequences. That puts them one step closer to having sex there. A man and a woman have to risk getting arrested just for being in the same restroom.

I doubt that much is going to happen to the proponents of the "love that [has a PA system at every corner]."

When my son was young, we lived in San Francisco. Basically, he had to hold it or pee behind a conveniently placed car. Even if the gays weren't after him, we didn't want him having to go into a place where some man would be dropping his pride and joy through a hole he had drilled in the wall of the stall. This was a feature of virtually every public men's room in SF. Yuck.

There are a ton of books on kid self-defense out there, the best one is probably The Gift of Fear. Very basic stuff -- how to windmill, who to run to in an emgergency etc. etc.

A public toilet is supposed to be a rest stop of last resort, not a tourist destination. Piping in Yoko at top volume will only clarify its purpose.

Yoko-radio might keep all the other vermin out of there, but the miscreants under discussion here would simply drown her out by cranking up the show tunes on their iPods.

For the record, living in the big city -- I've never once heard one of my friends who are parents relate a story of their kids being approached.

Well, nothing says "Love" to me like a public restrrom. I'll be interested to see when they start having homosexual weddings in Public Restrooms.

You are exactly right. I lived in the Bay Area of San Fransicko as a kid back in the 60s and a homo visited our school's bathroom on numerous occasions. He was finally reported and hauled away back in the days before it was viewed as homophobic or a civil rights violation. After moving away I remained in contact for a few years and on a return visit in the early 70s a former friend relayed how the homos in San Fran would try to buy or pick up young boys as a matter of routine. This is part and parcel to the homosexual lifestyle and people best wake up. It ain't the Will and Grace show.

No problem -- but if you're a woman, then I would strongly suggest the Gift of Fear or other books by that guy.

I was in the first rest stop on the Mass Pike, coming off of 84 after a long vacation in Mississippi, a semi slave state, the food is excellent, and the people are wonderful.

Got to get some Z's but I have to pee also. I start bleeding a kidney when some Scally hat ahole starts loping his mule in the bleed hole next to me. If I was 30 years younger, I would have hit the Glob.
