Using science and math, Efthimiou explains why it is that ghosts cannot walk among us while also gliding through walls,... That may be true on Halloween, and may even be true generally, BUT au contrare on November 7, from 7 AM thru at least 8 PM (and often a few hours after that, in places like Chicago).

Seems kinda silly to use Newton's 2nd law to argue against ghosts.
After all, reportedly, ghosts are from a different plane of the universe than the physical world.

Horror stories may be the place for vampires, ghosts and zombies. Just remember, they are not real, warns physicist Costas EfthimiouThen explain this, professor:

Using science and math, Efthimiou explains why it is that ghosts cannot walk among us while also gliding through walls, like Patrick Swayze in the movie "Ghost."
I used to annoy my Wife (that was her favorite movie) by pointing out that, if Swayze the ghost can walk through walls and stick his head through the sides of trains, then he should fall right through the floor instead of walking on top if it.
Gotta love Hollywood and its inconsistencies.

Why would he fall? Does gravity apply to ghosts? :)

Oh, there are scary blood-sucking evil monsters around all right.

The reason the vampires don't destroy all humanity is that the Edward van Sloans are busy driving stakes through their hearts. Even Dwight Frye knows that.

That violates Newton's law of action and reaction. If ghosts walk, their feet apply force to the floor, but if they go through walls they are without substance, the professor says. "So which is it? Are ghosts material or material-less?" he asks.
This from the franchise that told us that interstellar elephants can, in fact, be in two places at the same time? :)
Besides, everyone knows that ghosts don't walk around.

For a scientist, he kinda missed that they were ghosts and could float.
I sure hope we spent tax dollars on this guy!

Next thing, this doubting Thomas will be trying to tell us there is no Santa, Easter rabbit or tooth fairy.
