Do you get the impression he's pro-Chicom? I presume he still is against that port deal. He was most likely all over the DNC/Global Crossing scandal.

Also was (I presume is) against Permanent Normal Trade Relations with China.

You might want to pick another issue.

He better explore alot. I never heard of him. Hopefully he gets some national exposure if he is indeed the right person for President.

For example, he is the guy who nailed CNN recently with a question asking "whether CNN wants US to win against terrorists"......

I would find it hard to name a few who are stronger than him on defense issues.

No not at all, I just don't like his style. He seem like the type of guy that likes to jump in on the media feeding frenzy bandwagon "outrage of the week" type of guy... If he were really against this sort of thing he would have been doing everything he could SINCE 1998 to get the law changed about the COSCO deal and bringing attention to it(like Tancredo has done about immigration)
but Hunter really doesn't care about it I guess...?

I don't HATE him, I just don't see him as Presidential material thats all..(Maybe a cabinet position, but i think he does a fine job where he is) just an opinion you know what those are worth... :)

Oh boy.....quite a bit to say about Duncan.

I know him to be a great Patriot and a guy who is extremely strong on Defense and national security issues.

Tying him the MSM feeding frenzy bandwagon is unbelievable.

"like Tancredo has done about immigration"

LOL! And he hasn't been called "jumping on a media bandwagon?"

If you don't like his style that's one thing, just look at the issue.

Can you show me one report/article/statement (or whatever else) where he was in favor of China's arms dealings, especially with DPRK. Worse, show me how he was ever in favor of nuclear proliferation involving China and/or DPRK.

He was against the Dubai ports deal. I personally was not that worked up on the issue. But, how does that make him pro-China and pro-DPRK???? Don't see the connection.

Tancredo talked out about it when it was taboo to do so before
it became "popular in the media"(I dont think he is Presidential material either but I respect him more)

"He was against the Dubai ports deal"

Echo Talon was an FR poster boy supporting the deal. My guess was he was checking for consistency? Next Echo Talon will call him a xenophobe (remember?), yet he himself isn't so sure of those on the Asian peninsula.

Seems like your beef is that he did not take over control of US policy as a dictator and prevent the China deal from happening.

When is the last time anybody raised revoking China's trade status? He commented on many things that isn't in the MSM? If it isn't in the MSM then how is he to get the word out? His press releases don't get CBS coverage...if it did then you may consider it part of the media frenzy?

I don't hear much in the MSM about how to create jobs in the manufacturing sector, either. Remember this guy is a sitting congressmen and Chair of the House Armed Services Committee, and is doing other things.
