America elects Governors generally.
A congressman has a real up hill battle.

How long before the liberals start saying that a former military person as commander-in-chief is a scary thought?
To: Paul8148
Ducan Hunter should never be President of the United States. Not even close.

Ducan Hunter going to annouce exploratory committee for 08 run for President Ducan is Duncan unless he's become a Deacon then he would have to defer or decline his declaration to explore his desire for higher office.

That won't be bad at all! Duncan is a great conservative and is really good on Defence issues.

Do tell?
What do you not like about him?

Strange comment.......what is so bad about him? Especially when you are likely to see McPain on the roster......

Do tell?
What do you not like about him? I know that you didn't address this to me but with as big of a stink as he put up over DPW, China is still operating ports out of California(where he is from) and not a peep out of his mouth.

Defense Industrial Base. Hunter knows what it is.

Upon further inspection I must admit (embarrassingly) that I had this man confused with someone else. I support Duncan Hunter with all of my might and think he'd make a great President.

That is the most you can come up against him?
Come on....what conservative (and liberal) politician is not beholden to Red China's trade interests?
I thought you would say he sold space and military secrets to Red China. Oh, no, that was Clinton.

I agree, Govs generally do better. It is tough for Congressmen.
