America elects Governors generally.
A congressman has a real up hill battle.

How long before the liberals start saying that a former military person as commander-in-chief is a scary thought?

Ducan Hunter should never be President of the United States. Not even close.

He better explore alot. I never heard of him. Hopefully he gets some national exposure if he is indeed the right person for President.

Rep. Duncan Hunter is a good guy. I hear him on the radio a lot here in San Diego, and he is a champion of border enforcement among other things.
http://www.house.gov/hunter/border1.htmlI would readily favor him over any of the others I have heard mentioned.

He better watch out. He has enemies in the DoJ and Pentagon. Curt Weldon already found out what happens when you take them on.

Guess he fancies himself the next B1 Bob Dornan who was usually running for president and always revising and extending on C-Span. These guys are trying to get their message out any way they can just like those of us that post on forums. We all have something valuable to add to the debate. If he can gain traction and enough of a following to compete nationally that is another story. The primaries are always a testing ground not only for this cycles candidate but also for candidates that will build and build and eventually win the nomination and potentially the presidency. Check the careers of Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon, AlGore they all run and lose and run again

I like this move, without knowing if I would vote for him, or if anyone else would - I know this.
Duncan Hunter is a tough SOB - he is willing to call a spade a spade - and that has a way of forcing issues to the surface where other politicians have to address the same issues with equal or greater strength.
This is a good thing.
