I thought my high school picture was cute.
Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) After her long-shot opponent, Republican John Spencer, suggested that Clinton had undergone "millions of dollars" worth of plastic surgery, and pointed out that she used to be much less attractive

I think she's quite pretty in that HS picture.
I hate her politics, but that doesn't make her ugly (45 years ago).

so then why do some women age like fine wine (bo dereck, sophia loren, linda evens)
and others turn to potato sack shapeless blobs with facial hair
At the gym there are women in their 30's-50's which have well formed physiques as any 20 year old. Why do women let themselves go?

Rather average looking. I don't think she is unattractive (based strictly on the photo). I do not believe she has had "millions of dollars worth of plastic surgery". But if I found out her side planted that as if it was from the opposition in order to derail them it would not suprise me.

This just in from the liberal New York Post, which also endorsed Eliot Spitzer for NYS governor today:
CLINTON: 12 MORE YEARS
October 30, 2006 -- The Post today also endorses Hillary Rodham Clinton for re-election to the United States Senate.
Surprised?
Well, so are we - a little.
But, then, there really isn't much of a choice in this race.
Clinton has an insurmountable lead in the polls. She's worked hard the last six years, and it shows.
And the Republican candidate, John Spencer, isn't a credible alternative.
He's a down-to-earth, if not earthy, fellow who once served Yonkers well as mayor and who now appears to be running for another term in that office.
If so, we endorse him - for mayor.
As for Mrs. Clinton, well, she's been a pretty good senator - popular with her colleagues and as productive as a first-term legislator from the minority party probably can be.
Think of her as Sen. Pothole Redux (apologies to Alfonse D'Amato).
Meanwhile, her positions on numerous issues - particularly involving national security - have been much closer to the political center than we would have expected.
That's not to say that some of her positions haven't already begun "evolving" toward the Democrats' party line - especially on Iraq, where she has slowly, but surely, begun inching her way over to the "Bush lied" crowd.
For now, however, the fact remains that she has been, to repeat, a pretty good senator.
But what about the question of the hour?
What about the White House?
Well, New Yorkers simply expect their major officeholders to be presidential aspirants - and the pols always rise to the bait (occasionally delivering ludicrous results; has anyone seen George Pataki in New York lately?).
So Hillary's caught the bug.
So what?
But we think she's done such a good job these last six years that she'd do well to serve six more. If not 12.
Re-elect Hillary.
In 2012.
Comment: I shall now proceed to take six showers for having touched this paper today.

How did she become so homely so quickly? Her high school picture must have been touched up. Photographers used to do that years ago if you wanted certain areas changed.
