Stay at home Republicans make no mistake your unenthusiastic view of this years GOP candidates has the potential to cause a measure of distress for the remainder of your natural life. Why ?
1. A Democrat wave that takes over Congress will be heralded by the MSM and the Liberals as a mandate to:
a. Withdraw from Iraq (regardless of cost in human lives or the future outcome). Vietnamization of Iraq will be completed but unlike the result of Vietnam which was the Cold War against Communist aggression, the results of failed Iraq will embolden an unstoppable Radical Muslim uprising. Whereas the Cold War had mutually assured destruction as a preventative to attack the new Terror war will result in multiple attacks on America with countless civilian deaths.
b. Investigate the Bush administration, witch hunt the entire administration with the end goal of an impeachment. Why? Well for among other things the vindication of Bill Clinton and the sealing of his legacy as that of the last great president in the U.S. Instead of Bush being a post 911 hero the MSM and liberals will ensure the Bush is blamed for every failure. In the minds of the MSM and liberals it is already so and they feel if he had not embarked on such folly as Iraq well then we would not be in the mess we are in today. I figure he is blamed for every attack on America and for any pitfall in our war on terror, for oh say the next 8 or 9 years.
c. Cancel the 700 mile border fence and stir a liberal outcry for amnesty. Watch for some kind of agreement between our Congress and Mexico's government. This will also be a way for the Liberals to get their message to the Illegal immigrants that will be the new Democrat voting block ensuring continued victories at the polls.
d. Sponsor a new amendment to the constitution one that instills homosexual marriage with the same rights as that of heterosexual marriage. To be heralded as a 21st century civil rights triumph.
e. Implement laws for a national health care system. One that will implement a class warfare that only the super rich will be able to get medical care outside of the this new government system and as such the super rich will get better health care then those middle class and poor that go to the government clinics.
f. Tax increases across the board resulting in large corporation lay off of many workers. Firings and lay offs will be used in order to recoup these new taxes from their payroll base resulting in stifled company growth. The end result of course will be to plunge our economy into sever depression. Those lucky enough to keep jobs will be taxed senseless to pay for the new wave of welfare class that will develop out of this depressed society.
g. Implement laws for the Fairness doctrine which of course will require liberal media coverage including talk radio and TV for any opposition point of view.
2. Everyone make no mistake about it your failure to act will result in generations paying the price. GET OUT AND VOTE REPUBLICAN.
You are correct. The hand-picked successor of Jim Kolbe who got all the RNCC support was Steve Huffman. My error there.
And no, I'm merely asking a question, because he is likely to lose, not because he's a Conservative, but because he's a one-issue candidate who didn't have the broad support of most Republicans and Conservatives.
Oh bullcrap. Randy Graf is an experienced legislator with impeccable Republican credentials. He was Republican majority whip in the Arizona House of Representatives and highly respected by his colleagues. He has the endorsement of 26 members of the state legislature, taxpayers groups, the local Border Patrol union, law enforcement associations, the Minutemen and pro-life organizations.
Graf's biggest obstacle to victory in November will not be his Democrat opponent, but the damaged egos of the RINO-coddlers who backed Huffman. Those same people who insist that conservatives should support their RINOs are threatening to take their ball and go home. And to make matters worse, the RNCC -- still stinging from their sound rebuke by conservatives -- encouraged and legitimized this temper tantrum by funding Huffman in the primary.
All that said, with all your insisting that Graf can't cut it, if you ain't another one of those "conservatives can't win, but they must support our RINOs" jackwits, you sure as hell sound like one.
And that's a valid indicator nationally, how?
Stop with the head in the sand mentality.
Who's head is in the sand? I'll be voting. If other conservatives don't, how is that my fault?
And what are you going to do in 2008 when the Republicans, who already know that they can tilt as far left as the Dhimmicrats without fear of rebuke, demand your support again?
Enough is enough. It's time to evict the RINOs if we're ever going to re-consolidate what makes the Republican Party better than the Dhimmicrats.
Actually, his homo marriage thing needed a semicolon; yet I am not one to dither on the details. ;)
I suspect the victory celebrations will be marked with a little less gusto this year. The music not as lively.
Two years left for the party to rise in stature lest spite determine the vote in '08.
No, you should realize you aren't a dictator.
As long as the Republican in office has no principles and is nearly identical to the Rat on the issues, it's OK because he has the magical R next to him?
With the exception of Lincoln Chafee, there is no federally elected Republican who is nearly identical to the D on the issues.
Riddle me this: Why can't the Republican just act like Republicans?
As defined by who? As defined by you?
Low taxes, limited government, strong defense, traditional values...remember those?
Yep. But do we all agree on exactly what those mean? No. We don't live in a dictatorship. No one person gets to define what 'the' position is on any issue. People from different frames of mind and different experiences might see things somewhat differently on exactly what those mean.
Example: The leading Conservative Think-Tank, The Heritage Foundation, is a big supporter of Romney's Healthcare marketplace bill, while The CATO Institute is not.
I'm not advocating for either position, but I hope that both sides vote for the same candidate come election time. And they will if they have half a brain.
There's no need for any Republican to "move to the middle" or "become an enlightened moderate" or "appeal to independents."
Ah, the eternal unappeasable dream. If we ran Tom Coburn in every race, we'd win every race.
That's interesting till you run into the brick wall of fact. I could site literally hundreds of races that it wasn't true in, but you wouldn't listen. You'll merely toss aside every example of that not working, blaming it on RINO's, but it won't make you right.
Why is that so hard for the GOP to understand? Now you know why they're called the Stupid Party, right?
It's not hard to understand, it's just overly simplistic at best and completely untrue at worst.
If anything, all of these RAT October surprises and all of the "dancing in the end zone" they've been doing has fired everyone I know up to vote, not stay home.
The Democrats are far worse than Republicans, however badly the GOP has behaved lately.
Nice to see you finally admitted you were wrong.
On the other point, if he's so great, why did 58% of Republicans vote against him? Are 58% RINO's? And if that's the case, how can you call the majority of the party "In Name ONLY" Republicans? As they are the majority, wouldn't they be in a better position to define what Republicans are or aren't?
I draw the line at gastric maladies.
You just show how intentionally FREAKING BLIND you make yourself or know the truth but are just a flat out liar, so you can throw your pathetic little tantrum.
Judges Roberts and Alito are just two HUGE, POSITIVE things but people like you will continue to keep your heads in the dirt, spew your ridiculous, stupid rants such as the one above. GOOD RIDDANCE! Who needs perpetual whiners?!
This is exactly what I'm talking about.
The smarmy, know-it-all elitism oozing from the party apparatus and its worshippers.
Conservatives aren't allowed to exhibit emotion when their leaders don't at least adhere to 80% of conservatism? I'm not asking for 100% Republicans, I mean, all Republicans essentially support the UN and the Education Department, and conservatives still vote them in, right? But there hasn't even been a concerted effort to limit the size of gov't anywhere. What happenend to Bush's excellent "Ownership Society" plans? Where'd that go?
Well, let us hope that Congressional Republicans, assuming they retain control, do not wish to go through this stuff again. However, if they continue on the same path, the ones to blame are those who vote in the individual primaries.
If Republicans hold power and they go back to their 'old' ways, then we must withhold money from the RNC, the various PACS, and individual politicians. We must also vigorously support true conservatives in the primaries.
I will say this: If the Republicans lose their hold on Congress, and the Dims do what most of us know they are going to do, I do NOT want to hear any complaining or bitching from those that either did not vote, or voted third party (protest vote ala Perot which, by the way, got Klinton elected with 44% of the vote).
Don't waste any energy trying to convince a very, very small percentage of brain-dead, the importance of helping elect traitors and metally deranged run this great country.
LOL...Agreed. It is likely they will find themselves after the fact saying..."Rove did this...SOMEHOW!"
Republicans are running the same risk the Dems have run for so long: Treating their own constituencies like idiots. In the Republicans' case, we are not idiots. We know the outcome of Dem control of Congress. We also know that if we continue to rubber stamp all GOP candidates we will get more of the likes of Chaffee and Shays.
Anyone who is not discriminating in how they cast their votes is an idiot.
That'd be the Lewinski vote, right? For when they've got you so scared you've got no pride left?
I detect some sarcasm in your note. I try not to use that gif too often. Only when really necessary. LOL
Nah. Water off a duck's back. A one-seat majority in the House will be 'a mandate' to go on as they have been. You have to realize that we're dealing here with people in whom pride has been entirely replaced by self-importance.
