Michael Savage: Left-Winger
Copyright 2006 The American Spectator ^ | Friday, October 27, 2006 @ 8:36:18 PM | Posted By: Hunter Baker

I've always known there was something wrong with Michael Savage's schtick. It's intolerable. He talks like an absolute madman. He is just about as intemperate as you can get and still be on the radio.

Now I know what was wrong. The whole thing is a put-on:

Supporting a candidate out of your own wallet may be the most accurate gauge of what a donor believes in his heart. So it should come as a shock to fans to learn where their hero distributes his own political gifts. Which are not ungenerous. Just ask Jerry Brown, the decidedly liberal candidate (pro-abortion, pro-gun control, etc.) for California attorney general.

As the San Francisco Chronicle reports, Savage is a top contributor to Brown's campaign against conservative state senator Chuck Poochigian. His gift of $5,600, the maximum allowable under state law, was merited, Savage told the Chronicle after being outed. Why? Because "You have to make choices in an imperfect world."

RIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGHHHTTTTT.

Sure, just like it will help the conservative cause for conservatives to sit out this election and teach the pubbies a lesson - by helping Rats get elected!

Are you a Savage listener? I have never heard Savage promoting that conservatives sit out the election to teach the Republicans a lesson.

Espousing not voting for a Republican who does not espouse conservative values is a different reason than not voting just to make a statement. I have yet to hear Savage clearly advocate to his audience not to vote one way or another. Have you?

Savage is not a true conservative. All show . Almost a parody. Stick to Limbaugh and Coulter, Steyn etc...

Savage gives the liberals an easy target, thats the point of him. get it?

Obviously you don't like him but you don't have to smear him in the process. You claim he advocated voting FOR a Democrat, I'm just saying that is not true. If he did then I would be the first to say Savage is a fraud.

I'd like to think that we conservatives who listen to Savage do see the big picture and just by us being on Free-Republic should tell you Savage detractors something. Get it?

Jerry Brown is a leftist lunatic kook who led California in the dark ages of serial murders, Rose Bird, and no one being safe from criminal marauders. It took George Deukmajian, a great governor, to lead them out of it. Once he did, the state turned liberal kookbird again.

Savage is nuts to support this guy. I used to like Savage back in 1994 on KGO. And I used to be one of his defenders here. But Clinton and the Democrats were running things back then, so the louder the better. Now he routinely talks about dogs and food and restaurants and interviews Chuck Schumer. He figures out what he stands for every day. It will often be different than what he said yesterday. He is bored and playing his listeners for fools.

Levin is actually an effective voice in advancing the conservative agenda. Of course, if one were not a conservative, they might not take any comfort in that.

Does he talk about Brown on his show? Since i do NOT listen to show anymore I have no idea, but he does give the guy lots of $ and he has said that he supports him(although I don't know if he says so on his show on a regular basis or not, like i said I don't listen to him anymore and haven't since 2004)

Savage is not a true conservative

Savage says he's an independent conservative.

Everyone comes to their conservatism in a different way.

Everyone has a different personality.

Everyone's entitled to make a buck.

It's a free country.

SAVAGE!

Maybe this is Mike's idea of getting a little more attention. A hit piece about once a month can generate alot of free publicity.

Hey there PEOS, I really don't get this donation to Brown and my truth detector is now pointed in the Savage direction, there's got to be more to this story than what Savage has said and you know there will be no real insight forthcoming from all the inane Savage haters here.

If Moonbeam is a sure winner, why donate to him at all, he doesn't need it. And why not donate that money to conservatives who are in tight races around the country? This doesn't pass the smell test to me, what bout you?

Oops...double posting...so embarrassing.

Not really.

It means mine are twice as important, not being spoon-fed by a radio hack and all.

Toodles and enjoying being programmed.

Who is Francis?

Francis 'Psycho' Soyer was a charector in the movie Stripes. Sgt. Hulka (played by Warren Oates) and Francis had the following dialog--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Psycho: The name's Francis Sawyer, but everybody calls me Psycho. Any of you guys call me Francis, and I'll kill you.

Leon: Ooooooh.

Psycho: You just made the list, buddy. Also, I don't like no one touching my stuff. So just keep your meathooks off. If I catch any of you guys in my stuff, I'll kill you. And I don't like nobody touching me. Any of you homos touch me, and I'll kill you.

Sergeant Hulka: Lighten up, Francis.

You might want to look at who else has endorsed Governor Moonbeam, and ask yourself what Al Gore, Nancy Pelosi, and Planned Parenthood know, that you don't.

If Savage wanted to reward Moonbeam for the military academy, he could always send the money to the *school* - not Jerry's AG campaign.
