Michael Savage: Left-Winger

I've always known there was something wrong with Michael Savage's schtick. It's intolerable. He talks like an absolute madman. He is just about as intemperate as you can get and still be on the radio.

Now I know what was wrong. The whole thing is a put-on:

Supporting a candidate out of your own wallet may be the most accurate gauge of what a donor believes in his heart. So it should come as a shock to fans to learn where their hero distributes his own political gifts. Which are not ungenerous. Just ask Jerry Brown, the decidedly liberal candidate (pro-abortion, pro-gun control, etc.) for California attorney general.

As the San Francisco Chronicle reports, Savage is a top contributor to Brown's campaign against conservative state senator Chuck Poochigian. His gift of $5,600, the maximum allowable under state law, was merited, Savage told the Chronicle after being outed. Why? Because "You have to make choices in an imperfect world."

RIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGHHHTTTTT.

Jerry Brown established a military academy in Oakland giving kids from some really rough neighborhoods half a chance in life.

No matter what you think of Savage and Brown, how can you find fault in that?

"Your post reveals an awful lot about you."

Do share those many things revealed about me, since you have related back none whatsoever of those supposed items.

"When people use "Weiner" sarcastically -- what they really wish they could use is the word Jew. "

See if you can understand this.

Dr. Weiner changes his name to "Savage", pretends to be Conservative, and does 3 hours of bashing other Conservatives with names like "Hush Bimbo", "Vanity", "the Leprecaun", etc. How funny is that, to have someone who fakes his own name, but makes a living off of calling people other names.

He is not going to get away with it.

Understand?

> Weiner is a reactionary, or he is a poser fooling a few million trained seals <

Or even more dangerous, he's what the Marquis de Lafayette would have called an "agent provocateur."

... and I've spent years observing once adamant liberals telling me they now (then) listen to Savage. And I've gotten to watch these same people go from ardent Libertarian, to conservative, and then Republican.

I hear that Brown pets his dog. He can't be all that bad huh?

And whereas any previous challenger made a poor substitute, my belief is that in time, Mark Levin WILL destroy him.

Exactly! Mark is the real conservative, is just as hard on Islamo-facists, and once he gets a foot-hold nationally, will make Savage irrelevant.

President Bush supports Lieberman for his stance on the WOT and Iraq... and the fact that his support for the WOT keeps Americans safer. That is the truth... unsexy and non-conspiratorial as it is.

You had to really reach for that one, so you're saying THAT is the reason Savage gave the max contribution??

*ba ha ha ha* nice try

Another moron comes to the wrong conclusions about Savage based on a single contribution

Do you know who Jerry Brown is? Do you live in CA? If you did you'd know who the morons are here (clearly you, Brown & Savage)

Hmm? That thread doesn't mention the 'California Satellite'. I guess the Luddites finally agreed with him on that one.

Savage was impressed that Brown founded the Oakland Military Academy, which is a school designed give students from the inner city in Oakland

That's ABSOLUTE crap, and you know you're either being disingenuous with that, or ignorant... After days of being dismissive about his support of Brown, he finally found an issue he can point to, to save face... That's all it was... If that was the TRUE reason, he would have cited it when he was first interviewed, not days later.

Hello, I'm Michael Savage
and I'm no ordinary Weiner.
In fact, I'm filled with cheese!

Go ahead, give me a squeeze.

Brown - the man whose legacy gave CA Rose Byrd and other judicial oxymorons - is running for Attorney General against a good + decent candidate. There is no rationale that would justify supporting Brown.

And Michael also supported a Black NAACP member speaking conservative values, years back.

Jerry Brown's big theme getting elected Mayor of Oakland -- was addressing the horrific crime in Oakland. He's been beaten down many times by the Socialist Liberals.

In the Pelosi world, Jerry Brown's attempts come across as traitorous. Even tho Jerry himself is hanging on the lefty side, he doesn't see the point of having a radical lefty agenda which kills everyone in sight. In the SF Bay Area, you make strange friends and alliances, things are so *that* bad in the Bagdad By the Bay Area.

And it's a beautiful place to visit, nay, a theme park using live humans through the Bay Area.

I've always known there was something wrong with Michael Savage's schtick.

Anyone who thinks so highly of themself that they need to
broadcast their opinions as "education" to those whom they
consider beneath them or ignorant or ill-informed has serious issues.

Savage, Hannity, Limbaugh.. whomever you choose.

None of them has earned the right to tell anyone anything.

Bunch of self-absorbed hacks.

Buhs is being pragmatic, knowing that Lieberman is the lesser of two evils... Savage complains about Paleo-losi becoming Speaker, yet refuses to vote... That, to me, is immaturity... Either you get everything your way or you exit the playground...

The choice is clear, Dem or GOP... Why can't some people figure this out? If you don't like the GOP candidate, vote him/her out in the primaries
