Finally starting to see some activity on behalf of Talent. In addition to what appears to be about a tripling of advertising activity here in St. Louis in the last few days, there has been a huge increase in telephone calls. Just this morning I've had calls from RNC (gay marriage), MO Republican Party (Tax increases), and one other call that I dont recall. Also got a flyer in the mail the other day from RSCC I believe.
Still not seeing yard signs like I usuualy do for Jim here in West St. Louis County but several people have suggested I ought to get out more often. Not many here in Ballwin which is part of Talents old congressional district.
Lets keep our fingers crossed on this one. I sure cant stand the thought of having to listen to McCaskill for six years.
TOPICS: Politics/Elections; US: Missouri; Your Opinion/Questions
KEYWORDS: election; mccaskill; missouri; talent
The emphasis of all is to scare the bejesus out of me. McCaskill is the boogie man who is going to bring in gay marriage and raise my taxes. Well its getting me out to vote.

Did the Jeff Suppan/Cavezial stem cell ad play in MO last night during the World Series game?
How is that being received?

My mailbox has had something from republicans every day for the past two weeks.
The ads are good, and they take on one or two points at a time.
Yesterday was marriage. I think they are effective, but they are preaching to the choir here.

Go get some and give them to folks.

SI'm seing lots and lots of Talent bumper stickers. Hardly any McCaskill bumper stickers. Talent yard signs outnumber McCaskill by a wide margin from what I have seen.
Not seeing much enthusiasm for McCaskill.

I had an old yard sign I had from Talent's 2004 run out in my front yard. Somebody took it away. I got so ticked off, I went down to the local Repub headquarters and loaded up. Now if they take them down, I'll just get even more.
Do not mess with me DemocRATS!!!

It is NOT too late to join the GOP's GOTV
go to
http://www.GOP.com/72hour You won't be sorry.
I'm going to Pennsylvania next week to work for Rick Santorum and Jim Gerlach and I can't wait!
The GOP will get you transportation in some cases but they WILL cover your lodging. You buy your own food. Believe me I went to Pa. to work for W. in 2004 and it was a blast. It was like grown up political camp! Take the plunge. You will never regret it. Be part of history and be able to tell your kids and grand kids what you did to save America in her time of need.

Let's hear about the boomeranging Michael J. Fox effect. I haven't seen any polls that were taken since the whole Fox commercial fuss. I'm curious, too. I wonder if it helped McCaskill or blew up in her face.
To: Non-Sequitur
If the emails sent in to Rush are correct, it blew up in the Dems' faces. I suspect that it has.

Another thing that might be hurting McCaskill is the ad with her mother defending her.
It's lame. It makes McCAskill look weak having her mommy tell us how ashamed we should feel.
I do have to say that daughter looks just like mother and in a few years 'ol Claire is going to be even uglier.
