I recall several studies a few years back pointing clearly to "estrogen like compounds" in the plastics we use to "bottle" water, milk, cokes, etc. Back when "men were men" these liquid products were all sold in either glass, waxed paper, or metal containers.

The estrogen-like-plasticizers leach from the plastic "in small amounts over long periods of time". It's a low level constant dosing of estrogen equivalent to our entire population.

My $0.02 anyway!

who knew?

maybe all that ritalin? 12 years of NEA-types emasculating our boys? this culture does not encourage, much less develop, masculinity in our males. We will pay for all the PC stuff.

I know there probably isn't a study to support my beliefs, but IMO conservative men have higher levels of testosterone than liberal girly men.

This conjures up images from Hell Comes to Frog Town!

Floyd Landis obviously needs to be enlisted ad the new "Sam Hell"!

During a press conference on the Tour De France doping issue landis said, "This is not a doping case" . He added that his testosterone levels are and have been "natural and produced entirely by my own organisms."

This is series! We need to slap a male chastity belt on him and tell him "it's government equipment now."

Does this poll include American males in Asia? (I highly doubt it)

I think you're on the right track. My instincts tell me the lower testosterone level in males is the consequence of consuming some pervasive substance(s) present in modern diets taken over a long period of time.

Public education, media and politcal castration will have that effect on a person.

Hey. Watertown was once my home. You wouldn't want to say something like that there, believe me.

Its from female hormones entering the water supply.

I'll bet you a beer, Birth Control Pills are at the root of this one.

Woman urinates, out goes that extra fem hormones being used to keep her from getting pregnant. That hormone now is in the water supply and it continues to be in larger quantities every year.

They have even noted gender change fish changing gender in some waterways to female due to it.

Not in conservative men! Only limp wristed homosexual and metrosexual liberals.

They skewed the poll with Democrats, again.....

This has been happening throughout the developed world. There is a lot of suspicion that residual atrazine in the environment is to blame.

Another possible culprit is estrogen in waterways (it's excreted by women who take birth control pills), that ends up in our drinking water.

This is nothing to joke about. It has serious implications for our birthrate, and for the reproductive capacities of a lot of other species.

I remember a study regarding estrogen in plastics too and IIRC the study also seemed to relate the early pubescence of females to the plastics. Later, I wondered what effect that could have on male anatomy, but don't recall that the study specifically addressed the topic.

Alright, I admit it, I used to listen to them back in the day. Ahh those awkward years ;-)
